Really cool list with a super clear vibe. I think what links them all together is that they're all fast-paced arcade-like games with strong foundational gameplay mechanics but little-to-no story that are easy to pick up and literally can't be reproduced in any other medium. How'd you make a Crazy Taxi film? A Typing of the Dead book? A Smash Bros Melee podcast???
