The best survival game ever. Would give it 5 starts if it weren't for the fact that it relies too much on the Wiki.

This game made me so angry when I played it back in 2016 that it inspired me to get into videogame analysis.

YouTube animators do a way better job than this...

It has some nice set pieces and the story can sometimes achieve that Indiana Jones feeling, but the gameplay is terrible. Neither the shooting nor the puzzles are fun.

Creative level design, well balanced difficulty, good boss fights... The balloon system is outdated and annoying, but it's still a great game.

Multiplayer is messier and it's a bit easy, but the boss battles are better and the level design is still great.

One of the best AAA games ever. The direction, the writing and the pacing are all stellar. The grim survivalist atmosphere makes the gameplay worthwhile. The ending is perfect even when the second game is considered. Oddly enough, my favorite parts are the walking simulator bits; that's where the characters get to shine.

The wall-merging mechanic leads to some interesting puzzles and the dungeon design is pretty good. Ravio's shop is a good idea, but having every single reward in the game revolve around it kills the incentive to explore.

The single player co-op concept leads to some really emotional scenes, but beyond that the game doesn't do much. Some game-breaking bugs lowered my enjoyment as well.

It turns into a horror game halfway through and I love it because of that. The Flood are my favorite game enemies ever.

A more ambitious story that explores the Covenant in a meaningful way through the Arbiter, but unfortunately isn't as memorable as the first. Dual-wielding adds more strategy to gameplay, but the Flood is more annoying than before.

The most personal of the trilogy's stories, but the weakest one by far. The gameplay additions aren't that relevant and the level design could've been better. Still a good Halo game though.

Wow, what an improvement from the first. The story leads to some of the most engaging and tense set pieces of the entire series. Bullet sponge enemies, a poorly written villain and other annoyances here and there unfortunately keep it from greatness.

The individual missions are cool, but the open world is such an unnecessary element that drags the entire game down. Halo gameplay isn't that well optimized for a character weaker than the Spartans.

I love the relationship between Chief and Cortana. Everything else sucks.
