An excellent platformer for its time. Unfortunately, the level design does not hold up compared to modern standards. Mario's awful collision does not hold up either. Mario's excellent movement more than makes up for this game's age.
One of the best games on the 3DS. It takes the foundation started in ALTTP and evolves it to a completely new level! Please play this if you haven't already!

An excellent remake of an already excellent game! I will say, I'm not a fan of some of the choices made to make the game easier. The original game was never difficult to begin with, so it's not the worst problem to have. The remixed music is amazing! Hearing these iconic tunes brought to live with an amazing orchestral score is incredible. I highly recommend this remake!
A really fun and charming game! There's nothing else like it.

An amazing expansion of an already amazing game! All of the extra goodies from HeartGold and SoulSilver, and so much more all make this my definitive way to replay Crystal! I highly recommend it!
One of Nintendo's best games. An extremely pretty game with very tight controls and excellent platforming. I highly recommend Yoshi's Island!

A fun short game, not much to say. Banger music.
An improved version of Gold and Silver. It takes everything I love from Gold and improves it even more. This is what Pokemon should be. One big open adventure focused on becoming the best. I highly recommend Crystal!

One of my favorite adventure games. While I think the RPG mechanics are simple, Johto takes what made Kanto great and expands on it even more. Johto is very open, and as a result feels extremely immersive for a Game Boy game. I wish newer games too more inspiration from the Kanto and Johto games.
