Not only did we finally get Metroid Dread after 15 years, but it also ended up being the best 2D Metroid game as well. I love the way this game controls, and I love the power-ups you get too. Fantastic game.

2021 GOTY contender, easily.

Good game, but everything about it is improved upon in the sequel

Alot harder than DKC 1 but still fun to play. The OST bangs pretty hard, and Dixie is pretty fun to use with her hover ability.

Yo this was my shit back in 1st grade

A more non-linear Metroid Fusion. Being short and sweet, I finished it in 6 hours.

Kinstones kinda kill the momentum in this game. If they weren't in the game, it'd be a 4/5

I'm so mad at myself for not playing this game sooner. Challenging, but not impossible if you study the boss' patterns and practice enough. The art direction, music, and attention to detail are all both charming and impressive. You can tell a lot of passion and love went into this game. Easily one of my favorite videogames ever.

If you're expecting fun combat and fast-paced gameplay, this is not the game for you. Story is wacky in a Kojima-sense. The cargo mechanics can be interesting depending on what kind of games you like, but I found them tedious and ultimately abandoned this game...

I loved this game as a kid, came back to it recently and it's not as good as I remember. It plays as a collect-a-thon, it's short, and not as beloved as Yoshi's Island.

It's alright. Fun for a little while. The ability to combine powers is a nice touch but otherwise nothing too memorable here.
