Very underrated and overhated! While I do understand that it deviates greatly from the other Assassin’s Creed games, I would argue that makes this game stronger, as someone who feels like the Assassin’s Creed series has been going on for too long. This game offers a beautiful open world, fun combat, and a great story!
Basically like the original and remaster, except with updated graphics and performance, overall still one of the greatest games of all time
One of the greatest games of all time, perfect story, beautiful open world, amazing characters, and great gameplay that will make everyone fall in love with this game. Hard to say whether or not it’s my favorite game of all time. But it’s definitely in the top 3!
An amazing game with an amazing story, but very brutal, miserable and dark. The gameplay is superior to its predecessor, but the pacing is horrendous in this game. While the story is good, it’s not for everyone.
2020
A beautiful, fun, and amazing game all around. The open world is amazing, the story is really well written, and the gameplay and combat is absolutely amazing and brutal. My personal GOTY 2020 and damn near perfect!
One of my favorite Star Wars games, fun, engaging, and enjoyable. While not perfect, the combat sticks to a soulslike, solid combat system. Very fun and highly recommended to any Star Wars like myself.
2023
An amazing game… for the first 10 hours. After that the game gets progressively worse and worse due to the gameplay loop being bland and boring, main story being lacking, and overall getting boring. However there are strengths to this game, the combat is very good, and the side stories are pretty good.
One of the best games in 2021. While not as scary as RE7 or difficult. It does improve upon anything gameplay related in comparison to its predecessor.
2020
A good game but not worth the amount of money you have to pay for it, it’s gameplay is strong, but everything, especially the runtime and difficulty is lacking.
One of greatest horror games of all time, and completely revived the Resident Evil franchise after 5 and 6. Bringing it back to true survival horror. And once again making the series great again.
The best rockstar game of all time! Absolutely stunning! Virtually no flaws.
Greatest game of 2019, as someone who loves Fromsofts formula I’m very glad they switched it up a bit, the combat is brutally challenging, fun, and engaging. Not the game I would recommend to introduce people to Fromsoft, but definitely one of (if not) they’re hardest game to date.
2015
Similar to other Fromsoft games, it’s perfect. Insanely fun, fast paced, brutal, and dark. This game is one of the best games of all time!
2016
Another Fromsoft banger, and (IMO) the best of the Dark Souls trilogy, improves upon virtually everything the first two set up, with incredible boss fights, an amazing soundtrack, and lore for the fans!
2023
So far it has been an improvement upon everything the original has done. Scary, atmospheric, and fun as hell to play! Haven’t finished yet but loving it so far!
Edit: after finishing the game I can safely say that this is an amazing game. It’s better than the original in basically every conceivable way. This may sound weird, but I found the soundtrack and scares of this game far better than any other in the series, to the point that I think this remake is better than Dead Space 2 and now I’m hoping for a remake of that. Overall this game will definitely “Make Us Whole”
