Not a big Metroid fan but something about this game clicks with me, maybe its the fact that this game contains plenty of horror elements within it, its very thrilling to play and to escape the SA-X, an enemy which is basically a more powerful version of yourself, which is one of my favorite types of threats in a game, it also has beautiful sprite art, a very impressive game

If I were told this game was made last year I would believe it, this game is stunningly beautiful, and very addicting. It expands on what made the previous 2 games fun and continues from there, the game is less prone to break on you compared to the others and has its own visual identity. The music is very calming, and the game is fun to play, however I would say the side content outshines the base game, it is something outmatched by every other one in the series even Pikmin 4, it is extremely replayable and fun to try get a better time each playthrough of a level in mission mode, also the Deluxe version adds a new campaign that is centered around Olimar which is like an expanded mission mode which is fun, amazing game, probably the highlight of the Wii U and is highly recommended
1993
While it is probably not the best in the series objectively, it is still my personal favorite and it is the one I most come back to, it is extremely replayable and the graphics are beyond timeless and are very appealing, the game is a great evolution of the classic formula and improves on it a ton and has its own identity, it is not very long but that is just a plus for me, I have beat this game multiple times in a day it is that fun, the music is up there as some of the best of the era, and is still gold, heavily recommended
2001
I don't even know what to say about this one, but for some reason, it remains one of my favorites of all time, something about it is very appealing to me, I don't even necessarily find it particularly funny I just love it, I think it has aged very well for the most part, except for the controls of some sections (especially involving guns) and for some bad taste jokes, the visuals for the N64 are unmatched with how purely cartoony and sometimes breathtaking they can be, the multiplayer is very fun and the story is simple and charming, great soundtrack too, I'd say the remake for this game (Live and Reloaded) controls a whole lot better but it loses alot of its visual identity and it appears quite generic, the original (this game) I believe has a much more appealing artstyle, great game
This game is very satisfying, it has been said to death but it is very true when people say you truly feel like Spider-Man when you play this game, it feels like you are playing a movie in the best way possible and you can connect to this interpretation of Peter Parker very well as they emphasize how long he has been at this and he is a very fun protagonist. Amazing, Sensational, Spectactular game
