Didn’t have a clue why this game was so revered when it was released and even still today, so I wanted to find out.
I’m still clueless.

Maybe the story is good, I’ve heard there’s a bit of a story to the game. The gameplay is nowhere near fun enough to keep me playing long enough to discover the story.
I was thinking it might be a neat little horror game where you explore but all you do is watch security cameras and attempt to conserve power so that you can close two doors and/or switch a light on.
Not for me.

It’s a shame because it is quite creepy but it’s just not enough to keep me entertained. Being able to explore Freddy’s would have been pretty cool.

Only 2 hours long and the story really captured my interest. The little stories about each character were very good and as most people seem to mention, the story of Lewis was incredibly well done.

Pretty fun and I think it has potential but it got a little old after a few games.

Half the time I wasn’t even sure how I was affecting other people’s game. Does killing the enemies just send them to their world?
Would be quite cool if they had added a bunch of ways to alter the opponents games, flip-controls, anti-grav, reduce jump height, speed up enemies, etc...

It looked like you could select who you want to send enemies to and one of the options was lowest time, why would you want to send enemies to players with low time and feed them time? Maybe I didn’t quite understand the game properly but that seemed odd to me.

Probably way more fun if you play longer and unlock all the levels and stuff but there isn’t enough variety in the interaction between players to keep me entertained enough to play that much.
Each time I got close to endgame, I just got bored by how long it started to take.

Really enjoyable game. The creeps you come across during the game are fantastic, the art work and design was just great in general.
I loved the atmosphere of the game, it wasn’t a horror game that terrified you but it had you on edge a lot and there were a few points that got the blood pumping a little bit.

My only problem with the game was the checkpoint system. Sometimes it felt like a chore to figure a section out just because the checkpoint would place you a bit further back than needed.

Nothing brings me joy and laughter like being qualified and watching someone else getting knocked off the world repeatedly

I really wish they would add a solo queue mode for casual 2vs2 and 3vs3.

Barely unlocked any of the fighters and I already know I love this game.
Co-op classic is really fun.
World of light took me a while to get used to but playing through it and passing the controller back and forth is great.

For the most part I enjoyed Dead Space.
I went in with the assumption that its basically Resident Evil in space, I can see some of the similarities but I don’t think there was enough to compare the two.

The horror aspect was great at times, the dark corridors and creepy Space noises were great for building tension and then the game would release the tension all at once with an almighty jump scare, an intense few minutes of combat and you’d feel safe, for a minute or two before the tension began to build again. It was a methodical cycle that was repeated through the game and if there hadn’t been a jump scare for a while, you’d really be on edge expecting it at every turn.

The weapons felt really fun to use, I actually enjoyed the weapon you start with so much that I barely used any other weapons, but I did try most of them out and they were all very satisfying to chop up, burn or explode the Necromorths.

A few things felt slightly dated but it’s an old game and I’m late to the party so I won’t complain.

I will complain about the Anti-gravity sections of the game though. I’ve never hated a mechanic more than the anti-gravity sections in this game. Trying to navigate, perform tasks and defend yourself all while completely disorientated just didn’t feel fun to me in any way whatsoever.

Really glad I finally played it and definitely enjoyed it, I’m sure if I’d played it 13 years ago I’d have loved it even more.
Won’t be in a rush to do a replay anytime soon but I won’t say never.

Edit: Has THE worst navigation map I’ve ever seen. I eventually gave up on using it, fortunately you can click the right stick to shine a quest line on the floor for a couple seconds.

My first real experience with Halo and it blew me away.

I could play Halo 3’s campaign on legendary Co-op over and over again. It’s so fun.

Multiplayer was the biggest and best thing about Halo 3 though imo.
The multiplayer was fantastic from the get go but then there was the custom maps, custom game modes, weekend events and at the time, an absolutely superb community.

The ones who experienced it will understand and I’m sure people had the same experience with other games, but for me...no game will EVER match the Halo 3 Multiplayer Experience when it was in its prime.

I love the original trilogy but RE2 was always my favourite. It’s my favourite in the whole RE collection anyways.

I still remember reaching the RPD for the first time and constantly being blown away by how big the game was compared to the first.

There was so many different play throughs and little secrets to find, Me and my friends rinsed the game to death.

The RE2remake was great but I still believe the original was superior.

I love EVERYTHING about this game!

This is the game I would show to anyone who doesn´t understand why I play videogames or questions videogames as an art form.

The story has got to be the best in any videogame.
The soundtrack is phenomenal.
The world is breathtakingly beautiful and feels so alive.
There is TONS of things you can do across the world, that could be a negative thing for some people as it could be daunting...but its all optional so I´d say its just a bonus.
There is SO much lore that you can uncover too, Rockstar was good with that in GTA V so its no surprise to see it here too but it´s great that they didn´t drop the ball there.

It has its flaws but imo they´re rather minor. The controls can be a bit fiddly at times. That´s all I can really think of...I guess it was kinda annoying when an NPC attacked you and you would be punished for retaliating.

After exploring the world, witnessing character arcs, progressing and learning the story, all combined with the soundtrack, you´re left with an emotional mark. There´s a cutscene towards the conclusion of the game that brought tears to my eye. I can probably count on one hand how many times I´ve cried watching movies or anything like that and I can´t honestly think of a single one right now, but this game was powerful enough to do that.

My second favourite game of all time.

The memories of playing this PvP, with best friends, in the golden era of Xbox live, they´ll never die

I can see why this blew up like it did. It´s beautifully simple, incredibly fun and addicting.
It feels like a game I´d have played on Newgrounds or Flashplayer back in the day.
Some of the random lobbies can be hard work. I´d love to have a group of people to play this with, I think it would easily raise the rating by a star.
