2018

this is one of those games that got me into game-dev, everything from the music, art direction, character design and overall feel of the game is great, its also not too hard so more casual players can easily beat this game.
i have almost nothing negative to say about this.

I remember wanting to play this game when i was young, this was like my number 1 most wanted game, but then almost 10 years later i bought it for myself with my own money to be so incredibly dissapointed. the jokes dont land for me and the combat is just kinda over the top for the sake of it.

not really a game, more like a cutscene simulator
the thing about this is that the cutscnes are really funny and well made, great to kill time and have a laugh.

Where do I even begin, this is a game you HAVE to go into blind.
you start the game and follow the tutorial to the museum, suddenly a statue starts shooting your memories back inside your head.
after that you start to explore the solar system, collecting little bits of information, but suddenly during your journey really dramatic music starts playing and you see the sun dissapearing?? suddenly the sun explodes and there is nothing you can do to get away.
but then you wake back up at the start with all your memories still intact.
It is your goal to find out what is happening and why you keep reviving after the sun explodes,
this game takes you on a beautiful and touching experience through the solar system encountering ancient civilization and discovering why you can seemingly travel back in time.
this is one of those games that anyone should have atleast tried once blind.

short, pretty but kinda feels like a cutscene honestly.

2020

This is arguably the hardest popular roguelike ever made, it is super pretty tho and the sound design is fenomenal

I wish i could rate this higher, but the game feels soo clunky and the story is very okay? like i dont really care about any of what it is trying to tell.

I like the design of the main villain, and as a game far cry still feels really fun to play, but thats about all the positive things i have to say.

honestly not as bad as some people make it out to be, but its also not great, it kinda started the downfall of the far cry series sadly.
this was the last actually good far cry game imo.

Vaas is such a cool character and the story on this game is actually pretty nice, the open world is pretty standard, but the combat is pretty fun
also bonus points for including a level editor.

If this was just base persona 5 it would be like a 4.5 star or maybe even a 4 star, but the added content on the royal version is actually so good, the new villain at the end feels very well written, the combat is pretty standard but its pretty fast and the game is not too grindy aswell.
this series has some of the coolest monster design ive seen in alot of games aswell.

I think I kinda outgrew this type of humor, when this game came out I thought it was the funniest shit ever, but now that I'm older it just doesnt do it for me anymore.
the gameplay itself is pretty standard turn based rpg with timing based mechanics which is pretty fun.

cool metroidvania with a pretty artstyle, the game controls kinda weird imo, but its not too bad, overall pretty good and definitely a recommendation for people who like metroidvanias.
