Okay, yeah the game is not good, however it did give us Riding Han solo, peak fiction.

This game is really challenging, fun and thought provoking.

In all honesty Dark souls shows the fundamental flaws of the game’s industry that being the need to make things easy and more generalised for an audience, Dark souls is not for everyone, however that is a good thing, considering the amount of games we are currently getting that are either live service infested games, “Hollywood” games, which are games that are more films than they are interactive software like Forespoken or Last of us 2 and anything that Sweet baby games publishes.

Dark souls, with other exceptional games like Shovel knight, Cuphead, Hades and others are almost telling players that they need to grow up, they need to understand that when you play a game you need to demand challenges, you need to understand that not everything in life and gaming is going to be easy, they will always be trouble and that it is going to unfair, but what counts is the fact that despite the pain and the gauntlet of issues, it is all the sweeter when you achieve that peak, that sense of relief, that sense of “you did it, you climb the mountain.” Imagine that the mountain you climbed had an escalator that got you to the top faster than taking the long difficult route, sure in some ways that is what everyone wants, but would you want it?

Do you want to be treated like a child or a warrior?

That is the problem with most modern games, they would rather take the escalator than push the players to their limit, they want to make gamers more docile and blander than inspired or feel achieved, while there are games that are easy and well liked like Kirby, that is a different beast all together, that is a casual game for people who want to relax, if you are complaining about a game that is intentionally meant to be difficult, then you need to go back to free maths games on your browser. I am mostly extending these complaints to Game’s journalists since they are one half of the issues, whether that is complaining about the fun aspect of the game, butchering the point of the story, or praising a bad game just because they filled out a checklist, both the mediocre games thrive through the basic and robot journalists that could not even get past the tutorial.

In the end, I believe Dark souls is important as that game reinforces to many that despite the constant stream of terrible, bland, or underwhelming games, there will always be a game that will explode everyone’s mind or teaches them something interesting, I am glad that I can play and beat a hard game that is rewarding. (Also, Kotaku is a parasite.)

I love this game's energy, its stupid and weird, but thats what I want from a game like this, I want a fast paced wacky game with a weird sense of humour that will keep me happy and entertained, with additional contents that are not even DLC (what a shock!), yeah overall this is a fun game.

It feels like there is a weird trend with most NetherRealm games, they would have some of the best combat and mechanics in fighting games, yet crumbles at the mere site of either a good story or additional content. For injustice 2 I am insulted by this one compared to others, like they take this very interesting concept that could go different directions, but instead makes the story either pointless or just ugly, that is including the character model, this game should be a barrel of fun when it comes to having these comic book characters especially for DC, yet when the characters are used in story mode, it feels like the writers spits on any ideas that they could do for the story and ends up killing the best characters. Not to mentions the terrible stuff added to it to make it redundant like the gears and the multiverse events, those are the most tedious things ever added to a game, just awful. To round up my feelings, this game is just... Mid, can be fun, but a lot of struggle.

This game is interesting to me because as someone who never grew up with the SNES games or someone that never really had a particular care about the 2-D platformer, yet this game for some reason clicked with me, like this is one of those games that despite me having a few complaints, I would play over and over again, so for this review I am going over the base game and the other chapters individually.

Shovel knight: shovel is hope is by all accounts one of the most satisfying experience to have with a game, from the music being Iconic and catchy, to the bosses being just interesting and unique, nothing in this game felt repetitive like each stage is as different as they are from the rest, the best way to describe why it is so good is the gameplay, the shovel mechanic feels so great to use, especially on the tougher areas, with the platforming being a mixture of fun, but not too easy with spikes and insant falls, honestly this game has so much going for it that I would love to see more of it, easy recommendation.

Spectre knight: Spectre of Torment is pretty decent as a Shovel knight spin-off.

Plague knight: Plague of shadows, another good one that has a great if frustrating gameplay mechanic.

King knight: The best one stuck with an annoying gimmick.

Overall: this game is very excellent and is the most fun I had with a 2-D platformer in a while, pick it up, it is really damn good.

Compared to the first one, this game is what I think the definition of Gameplay, I believe this game is up there with Portal 2, Shadow of war and Arkham city as perfect sequels, it has more weapons that are extremely satisfying, it has more worlds to explore and it has unique enemy encounters that makes this a worthy sequel to the kickass nature that was Doom 2016, along with making improvements on problems I had with the original like a better ending, better final boss (the ICON OF SIN is peak.) and better platforming with it being more interesting than the first.

However, despite it being very good, there are two problems that holds it back, the first problem is that some enemy encounter should feel epic or feel like they should be more significant like the Doom hunter or Marauder, they are built up with threat and intensity, then gets widdle down to basic enemy, it feels like miss potential, the last problem is that I am not a fan of the third person cutscenes, I prefer first person because I prefer not seeing the doom guy and rather seeing how he interacts through me, with other times making me feel awkward or taken out of the moment.

Overall, out of the two Doom game, I think this one is the superior one, I love eternal and I would kill to see a sequel or more content for the DOOM slayer.

2016

This game is Good.
To clarify I played both this and eternal back to back, to figure out, which is better and now I have come to a conclusion.
While I love Doom 2016 in every aspects comparing it to its sequel, its obvious which one is better, I love this game's combats, atmosphere and attitude, like it does not care about exposition it gets you straight into the action.

Reasons why I think it falls short is on two things, one I am not a fan of the platforming in this game, its not offensively bad, but its just lacking in any fun and can stop the game's fast paced action, still appreciate it just can be annoying, the last problem is the ending, the boss fight became piss easy and felt more like a standard enemy fight than it did an actual final boss, with the ending kind of feeling weird and a little less satisfying, honestly though despite those flaws I still love this game, but not as much as its sequel.

While this game is not my favourite in the persona series, I think this is another great game here, it is filled with so much personality, details and some amazing plot beats, I love how the gameplay is more fun and has more life to them with lots of jazz music and different styles attached to the attacks, with this also being Persona 5 (again) they managed to fix some of the issues with the original game and I will say the best improvement this game has is... Akechi, he went from a mid/okay character in the previous game to one of my favourites in the series alongside Makoto and Yusuke, it still does have a similar problem with the vanilla version, but I will say this will "take your heart".

Out of all the persona game spin offs, I think this is the best one, in terms of story, I like how it expands on the idea of the Persona 5, I like seeing the characters again and all the new faces, with a pretty solid gameplay mechanic, there is only two problems I have overall: I do not like the last half with EMMA, the weakest persona god boss, this also includes Ichinose who I can not care about and I do not have a particular interests in, the last problem is that there is a little bit of slog and a bit of meh moments like with some of the bosses or with some story beats, all in all a pretty damn solid Persona spin off.

A game that requires you to talk to people and communicate actions with them is more terrifying than playing any modern horror games.

man, I wish we had more games like this, when everything was free and happy, with no disappointment or battle pass, simple times.

This game is the best borderlands game and is secretly one of my favourite game, I love everything about this game, from the environment to the random bosses, and sitting on top of all those good things is Handsome jack, easily my favourite villain in games and fiction, truly terrifying and funny, its a masterpiece, go play it.

Good, yeah a game where you can fly in space with zero gravity, drive around on the moon and fight against giant bugs/robots/bandits, is actually a good game, take queues Starfield.

when you have a game that has Patrick warburton (Chad), a finger gun shoot out and a death race with a loud warlord that plays bass music, you know you got a banger of a game.

Pretty fun, wacky adventure in a D&D world with the insanity of the borderland's humour, yeah something that I would recommend.
