Godzilla is a fictional monster, or kaiju, originating from a series of Japanese films. The character first appeared in the 1954 film Godzilla and became a worldwide pop culture icon, appearing in various media, including 32 films produced by Toho, four American films and numerous video games, novels, comic books and television shows. Godzilla has been dubbed the "King of the Monsters", a phrase first used in Godzilla, King of the Monsters! (1956), the Americanized version of the original film.

This game features many popular Japanese franchise characters from the Godzilla Ultraman, Kamen Rider and Gundam franchises.

GigaBash is the debut title for Malaysian independent game develpoment studio Passion Republic Games. The monsters in the game were inspied by classic tokusatsu characters including Godzilla, Megazord, and Ultraman.
The objective of the game is to escape a city ravaged by battles between giant monsters (kaiju), giant robots, and heroes from the famous live action and animated Japanese film and TV series Godzilla, the Ultra Series, Gamera, Patlabor, and Neon Genesis Evangelion.
New costumes are regularly added, usually for a limited time. Some are of characters from different video games and media franchises, such as Half-Life, Portal, Godzilla, Team Fortress 2, Sonic the Hedgehog, Doom, Hotline Miami, Ratchet & Clank, Cuphead, Among Us, Little Big Planet, Astro's Playroom, Assassin's Creed, Hatsune Miku, and so on.

War of the Monsters has Togera as it's resident captain ersatz of Godzilla.
SNK's King of the Monsters games are probably named after Godzilla's title and has Geon as it's stand-in.

Bayonetta 3 has you control Gomorrah, a Godzilla-esque monster, in combat. There's also a section where you play as Sin Gomorrah, which is pretty much Godzilla except in name.
