one of the better Pokemon generations imo. The first time they really set in the whole villain team ending the world with legendary trope in Pokemon and still my favorite use of it. The games feel fast and punchy and Hoenn visually is one of my favorite regions I'd love to see some of the locals in that game in real life. My only real complaint is that some of the water routs feel kinda empty and boring and kinda annoying to navigate due to getting lost from everything feeling the same. Also steven stone gay lol
