Peak video games. This is only an experience possible through the medium of video games. Everything about this game is Perfection. The art style, the gameplay, the music, everything. I had issues at first but once I got used to everything, it all clicked. Perfect.

Boiling down fighting games to it's pure form while reinventing the genre to be turn based is absolutely genius. Matches may go on long but every single frame is exciting. Even if you lose, it's still a blast watching the stick figure fights play out afterwards. Fantastic game that everyone should try if you have even a slight interest in fighting games.

This improves on the first in nearly every way. Mechanically, it's just so much more fun, across all 4 characters. Visually, it's one of the best modern uses of sprite art. The art style continues what the first started by going beyond the Sega Genesis sendup style but still maintaining what made that style so charming to begin with. Story isn't too much better than the first but overall it is more interesting and voice acting performances are better. I do think the story is a bit over-presented. It almost would be more suited with Mega Man X style blips. Still, it's charming and I'm glad it's there. I wasn't bored by it.

Can't wait for more people to play this when it comes to consoles.

To this day, this DLC is one of the most fun things Platinum Games has ever made. Even though Sam is more limited than Raiden, his play style is unbelievably fun.

Playing this very close to Super was really interesting. This game is very much first person Super Metroid. It's still damn near perfect. Every moment, the game is just so engaging with exploring Tallon IV. One of the best games ever made.

This is the peak action game. Vergil has never played better. In 2022 alone, I've put 100+ hours into this game and mostly because of Bloody Palace. Absolutely excellent game. If you like action games at all, you owe it to yourself to play DMC5 Special Edition.

While I did find the general flow of the game to be pretty slow due to all the fake climbing, this is a fantastic experience. Very much greater than the sum of its parts. Overall, it's more of 2018 but the story is significantly more ambitious. More than anything, this makes me want to check out the older God of War games. I liked 2018 a lot but I wasn't left with a strong desire for context of Kratos's path. This game makes me want that to a very strong degree.

This is a pure video game. An amazing adrenaline fueled action game. It makes me so happy smaller scale games like this can still come out. The inspirations from stuff like DOOM and even Evil Dead are super clear. It's such a fun game and I want more like it.

This is an excellent foundation for future Sonic games. It's just fun to run around and do light platforming. It definitely needs to improve how it handled puzzles as well as general gameplay loop but the core of this game is quite fun. I think it needs more definition and clarity on open world activities, as well as better integration of everything. It's really easy to sidestep the admittedly well designed cyberspace levels by just grinding out fishing. I have high hopes for the next "open zone" Sonic game.

This is Bayo at it's best and at it's worst. The story is worse than it's ever been, but the art and presentation is better than ever. The combat is great but it suffers from most enemies being designed with the demon summoning in mind. I do think it's a great time on the whole though. It's still Bayonetta and that's always fun.

This takes the amazing controls and gameplay of Copen in Gunvolt 2 and gives him his own game and it's fantastic. The final boss was insanely frustrating but otherwise, it's a really fun fast paced 2D platformer.

I didn't think I'd find a first person shooter that would be as fun as Titanfall 2 but here we are. This game is incredible. People mock the boomer shooter revival but this is something special. It really earns the nickname "Devil May Quake"

Really fun 2D action platformer. I vastly prefer Copen's gameplay over Gunvolt. Copen is way faster and overall the game felt more designed around him. Very fun, and I recommend giving it a try, even if you didn't vibe with Gunvolt 1.

Less than good final boss aside, this is a near perfect 2d platformer. The way a level progresses is so clever, constantly mixing the unique elements introduced in that level. It is an incredible game that everyone should play.

I like what this adds to Kaito as a character. It makes Kaito more than the lovable sidekick. That said, this story wasn't the best. The villain was so cartoonishly evil which is such a steep contrast to both previous Judgment antagonists.
