The Darksiders franchise is never going to get enough credit for shuffling the deck with every sequel. Easily the weakest entry in the franchise, D3 still comes into its own despite the slow progression, the flawed Souls-like gameplay, and a protagonist that does not live up to the rest of her fellow horsemen/women. By the time the game wraps up, all the gameplay dynamics come alive, and Fury starts to find the seeds of a personality. I really hope this franchise finds a way to continue.

Sometimes you need to play a middling version of a genre to respect the greats. Made me wish I had a Dishonored 3 to look forward to.

Every bit the masterpiece of the original release, but prettier.

Also, special kudos to Tsushima for having several new armor sets based on Sony IP that were ALL visually stunning.

I love Artifex Mundi and their peculiar Scandinavian sensibilities. I will play literally every single one of their Hidden Object adventure games.

Artifex Mundi is at it's bizarre best when it leaves the world of fantasy and magic and tries to ground things in reality. Because their version of reality is very weird. Family Mysteries is my favorite series they have produced so far.

What the fuck even happened here?

Like many franchises, Super Mario Bros first jump into 3D has not aged well. At this point it’s more of a historical milestone than an entertaining play.

Feeling Less Generous Towards Powgi by Powgi.

(PlayStation Plus) I legitimately did not understand anything that was happening, but it was in fact a game with gamey things to do. I've seen worse cash grabs in the gaming space.

While I understand the love this game has garnered, I quickly lost patience with the abysmal controls. In my memory, it feels like Manual Samuel without the fun lunacy.

Sue me. I have a soft spot for Match-3 games with some extra embellishment.

Enjoyed this game only because my daughter and I had a competition to see who could get the Platinum the quickest, her on PS5 and me on PS4.

The old man's still got it.

When you can't make a good platformer on its own, just turn out the lights.
