This game is really fun to play with friends! I think I can only manage one "run" at a time because of how tiresome the graphics/loop gets after a bit, but I imagine mods help make it seem more fun

I think the bones of a good game are here. The art is easily the best part about the game. The only problem is I was playing on Steam Deck, and I don't know if its just a Steam Deck issue but the game was really buggy. I also think the Game part of the game could have been improved. The pickpocketing minigame wasn't hard, but it also wasn't super fun.

Its hard to put into words what I like about this game. I will say I am absolutely enthralled with this it. It is my favorite Final Fantasy. I cannot wait for Dawntrail.

Genuinely disapointed in this. I really did enjoy the overall game, but there were a lot of really small things that got to me. Some of the items felt like they should have been passive upgrades (Mole Mits, Roc Cape). No I-Frames after getting hit. Strange and obtuse puzzle moments. I still think its a good game, maybe I just wasn't in the mood to play it at this point in time and forcing it made it much harder to enjoy.

Solid gameplay with very minimal issues. I did find a way to cheese a few fights, which was unfortunate, but it was short enough that I could see myself coming back to this soon. Movement was UNREAL and the art was incredible too.

Without the (albeit paper thin) story of II, this game really struggled to engage me because of how middling the jobs felt. Each one kind of felt one-note, and wasn't really all that fun to deal with. The endgame got really really difficult really really fast, and there wasn't really any progress that was felt with each job. I think overall I'm the most disapointed in this game.

If this is where Final Fantasy goes from here I'm sold. I really enjoyed the characters and the world, as well as how incredibly hype the Eikon battles were. My only slight gripe is that the random encounters of mobs on the overworld were not worth fighting, and the misc quests were pretty pointless. I also think the combat could have been a bit more interesting, but that gripe is minor so I'm not giving it a point off for it.

I really did enjoy this game, but it still suffered some of the same problems I had with WL3. There were some janky physics in the game that made me a bit frustrated. I also didn’t really enjoy having to retread entire levels because I missed one of the five collectibles. That being said this was way better than WL3

Honestly not as bad as I thought it'd be. I really wish that the game wasn't so easy to break? Having Guy just dual wield swords and spam Berserk/Haste on him just liquefied everything in my path. Blood Sword was also fucked up but not to the point that it was game breaking, I think.
