Always thought the Catherines (Fully Body & OG) had good openings, personally. This a damn fine list though!
@Tibert I'm gonna be real, I did not remember Catherine having an opening and I went to look it up on YouTube it all came back to me. I should really replay it cuz it's been so long lol

@meiya yeah C;C's especially is pretty underrated. I like both of its openings but especially singularity
i'm all about the WELCOME TO CHAOS WORLD but that's fair
Silent Hill 1 and MGS2. Both are such fantastic tone setters before you even hit the title screen.

Many of the Ys games have my favorite openings, but I'll specifically name Ys VI.
