There is no greater vibe and atmosphere game that came out anywhere near when this game did.

These games are well written but you could just watch a video of them being played and that would probably be enough.

This game makes people right when they say Pokemon is bad.

This is a fun game that is a good reference point for trying the rest of the series. Wacky and at times sentimental, Yakuza has lots of heart. At the same time, it's a series you can probably get the full gist of by a couple of sessions worth of time.
