very fun but terrifying. really want to go back and play more, however i feel you need a group you really gel with to get full enjoyment out of this.

This Review is for the V2 Update of Mario's Madness.

An honestly amazing mod. Full of references and nods to Mario horror and media. A long mod as well, taking a total of 2 hours to complete from start to finish.

The Highlights of the mod for me:
Music Wise: Unbeatable is one of the best FNF songs I've heard in a while, the 5 composers really knocked it out the park with that. Other songs I particularly liked would be Starman Slaughter, Nourishing Blood, Oh God No, Dark Forest, Bad Day, No Party, Paranoia, Powerdown, Demise and Abandoned.
Art Wise: All the art is insanely good, my favourite sprites would be the Secret History Mario and Secret History Boyfriend + Girlfriend sprites. They replicated the Mashed style perfectly. Mr Virtual in Paranoia is animated insanely well as well. The 3D models in Unbeatable are insanely good as well. Girlfriend's sprites in Golden Land are great too.
Mechanics Wise: The mechanic for No Party is genius and it fits the source material it's referencing. The fact you have to work around writing out the words with playing the notes is fun. Paranoia's mechanic (and whole song to be fair) is amazing as well, and something I personally haven't seen an FNF mod do before. Most other mechanics boiled down to either making sure you hit the extra notes (Rings, Coins, Missiles, Bullets and Crystal Tap) avoiding notes (Poison Mushrooms, Jumpscare and Bob-Ombs) or pressing Space to dodge (Last Course, No Hope and Powerdown)

My only complaints with the mod are with Abandoned and Unbeatable. With Abandoned's current chart, it's near impossible to beat and Unbeatable has "No Miss" sections which feel unfair most of the time.

Overall an amazing mod. Would highly recommend playing if you're a fan of Mario Related Horror Media or a fan of Friday Night Funkin' in general.

takes what worked about the classic mega man formula and twists it enough into something new.
Some segments of the game feel a bit unfair but then again it is a mega man game

Aged fine, some parts are still kinda bullshitty.
Fine overall.

The DLC is a fine expansion. It's basically just "more" Splatoon 3. The gameplay of it is fun, however I think it's severely hindered by lack of maps. You play on the same handful of maps throughout the entire tower, and it makes it feel like there's no actual progression.
Also I feel if you buy all the upgrades, it might become too easy, hence why I decided to beat the game with one life and no continues first, I think this makes the game harder and requires you to actually think about your actions (and the maps you pick) more.
Overall, I think the DLC would benefit from a few more maps and maybe one or two more modes.

the best game ive ever played.

"The arcana is the means by which all is revealed"

i click the big cookie and i get the small cookie.

curious.

an actual complete game. gets stale after playing for a few hours straight but it's the best of the three modes we got. well done lego fortnite, you are a game.

pretty standard for a rhythm game. everything in the item shop related to this feels a little overpriced, including the festival pass, however this is the first rhythm game where i can play buddy holly so it gets a pass (lie)

More of the same for Vampire Survivors. But now we have tiny little among us fellas. :D

i think i might kill myself

This review is for the entire game up to the Layer 7 Update.

If I had to describe Ultrakill in two words, they would be "Fucking awesome". It's insanely fast paced, is easy to play but hard to master, and is overall just fun to play. The soundtrack is bumping and the synergies you get with each gun makes it fun to experiment.

I think the game "evolves" well with each update and layer that gets added. Layer 1 was very simple compared to Layer 7, which really experiments more with level layouts and bosses. I look forward to the last two floors because if they evolve on the format like Layer 7 did, it could become some of the best Single-Player fps content there is.

the worst of the three new game modes added in chapter 5 season 1. feels underbaked and repetitive.

mod is still peak lol.

Highlights:
The entirety of Expurgation. All the sprites. Hellclown.

Complaints:
like none lol.
(Expurgation can be a bit bullshit because of the one hits but like, that's the point)

yeah great mod.
