the most innovative shooter i've played in years, but it's a roguelite! creative and fun ideas but some bs and way less tight than its predecessor

(marking finishing as when I saw the credits for the first time) hoooooly shit this game is so much fun. every single time you play it it’s completely different and even though i beat it in like 10-15 hours i see myself playing this into the triple. there’s probably like millions of different play styles and stuff and there’s so many secrets and unlockables it’s insane how deep this game is compared to how it looks on the surface.

Silent hill 2 remake is going to be the worst video game of all time

could not care less about the story (which is funny coming off of sh2) and the acting/writing is kind of abysmal (product of its time of course) but the core gameplay loop is still so much fun and if you mostly ignore the story stuff it's a great time

area design is eh but the bosses oh my god the bosses

plot twist was pretty stupid and the ending dragged but the core love triangle was great and the core gameplay is so much more fun than it has any right to be

story is awesome but my god the gameplay is straight from the pits of hell

would be lower but this game is genuinely the hardest i've ever laughed and just because of that it's like a full star higher
