This may be the weakest of the God of War games but it's still way over-hated. The presentation is amazing, as always these games push their system's limits. The environments and level design are huge and wonderful to look at. The music is great too. The story isn't as necessary in this game but seeing Kratos a lot more calm and mellow in Ascension works super well.

The combat didn’t really need to be messed with but I think some of the experiments here are still good, I like the Blades of Chaos being interchanged with different elements instead of having different weapons, that’s neat. It also replaces the O button with temporary sub-weapons, which is cool. The combat makes this game stand out from the others in the series, and it’s pretty bold for doing that. Some other mechanics were changed kinda unnecessarily too, for example, climbing. Other than that, this is still a very fun game.

Overall Ascension is a good game, it’s lacking in the story department, and a lot of the gameplay changes feel unnecessary, but the beautiful presentation and action sequences make up for that. Regardless, the gameplay is still God of War, which means it’s brutal, epic, and violent action with amazing scale and spectacle. So, even if it feels like Ascension isn’t necessary, I still like its place in the series.

I thought this game would be funny bad but it's actually just the most offensively boring game ever. The combat is bad, the levels are bad, the story is bad, the pistols are infamously broken, the camera is even worse, nothing is good. The enemies and bosses are completely braindead, but they have the biggest health bars so the fights are just extremely boring. The only single good thing about this game is Dante's design, it's pretty cool. But even Dante in this game is boring as a character. I was begging for it to end the whole way through, I'm just glad this game is short.

The first Devil May Cry has simple but satisfying combat, a fun and overly edgy story, and really, really cool atmosphere. This is a good first entry to a series, it's rough around some edges in terms of game design and mechanics, but we can cut it some slack since it invented a genre. The world for this game is sick, I loved the atmosphere the entire way through. The music is awesome too. The only really big downside is that camera. It SUCKS. Very clearly was a reworked Resident Evil game. But, I got used to it, and when I did I was having a really fun time with this game.

I'm so excited to play the amazing future entries!!! Wait what? A really bad sequel? Oh yeahhhh, guess I gotta get through that first.

Another great WarioWare game, with this one using the DS stylus to its best ability. This isn't my favorite in the series so far but still has the undeniable charm and endless fun that every WarioWare game has. Definitely a DS essential and one I will always come back to.

I hadn't played this in probably more than 10 years and man this is really rough. The only reason to go back to this one is the utter chaos that sometimes takes place, but when it isn't chaotic it's boring; boring maps and pretty boring mini-games with a couple of good ones. Nothing terrible it's just fine. Gets 3 stars for being the first of its kind and being fun occasionally.

Ghost of Sparta is a HUGE step up from Chains of Olympus. Kratos' quest to find Deimos is great, having a game hone in on Kratos' family that we knew nothing about is awesome and really makes his hatred for Olympus even more real.

There are so many moments and areas in this game that make it stick out compared to other entries, like all the Atlantis stuff, going to Sparta, the atmosphere, the boss fights etc. It's an extremely fun and satisfying God of War game, it does everything a portable gow game could do and more. If you skipped the side story God of War games, please, at least play this one it's definitely worth it.

Nintendo's other magnum opus.

This was the first game I (my parents) ever preordered because I was so insanely excited for this game, watching the trailer every day and getting so excited to play a second Mario Galaxy game, and it paid off. I thought this was the best game ever when it came out. So many fun memories. As a kid I always preferred this over Galaxy 1, but now they’re kind of equal.

Anyway, I never understood the criticisms of this being more of the same as Galaxy 1. This game has a much different tone and wayyyy different level design. There is not a dull moment in this game, every single level has it's own gimmick which is crazy, there are so many fun ideas and variety in Mario Galaxy 2. The music, levels, and bosses are just as great as the first game. This is probably the most consistent and quality sequel ever.

Way too creative and fun not to be a 5. This is by far the best 2D Mario in decades, and I'm not even a hater of New Super Mario Bros. Possibly the best 2D Mario ever. There are so many unique and unforgettable levels. I love this game!

Some of the best use of the motion controls for the Wii. WarioWare Smooth Moves uses the Wii's gimmick to its best ability and it's very fun and easy to go back to.

The original WarioWare is simple in concept but also just as innovative and well executed. The colorful characters and many varied microgames are too much fun. There’s not much to say besides it’s endlessly replayable and feels like a perfect fit for the GBA. The microgames utilize the console to its best ability. The crunchy sound effects and music of the gba actually make this game way better. I love this game

The last entry in my favorite era of Mario Party. Mario Party 7 is pretty good, but a definite step down from 6. There are pretty decent boards and fun minigames, but the Bowser meter gimmick gets pretty annoying for sure. The mic minigames add good variety too and actually work pretty well. This one isn't the best entry, but it's still pretty good.
So here's how I feel about the GameCube Mario Partys
6>4>7>5

A very solid entry for God of War as always. Chains of Olympus doesn't really do anything new but that's okay because the story is cool and the gameplay is great as always. If you need more God of War (like me) this is a great and very fun portable experience, I wouldn't pass on it. It's a fantastic smaller-scale spin-off that utilizes the PSP to its best potential.

At the core, this game is still great because it's a Katamari game, and every Katamari is very fun and addicting. This one just falls a bit short due to its obvious limitations of being a PSP game. That being said, it is a smaller-scale game that is charming and works well on this console. The controls work fine, it's about as good as they could get trying to replicate dual analog on a PSP.

The main issue I really have with this game is it doesn't do anything new, and it gets a little repetitive. It has the same level probably over 5 times in a row of going from 20cm to 1.5m to 70m. You're going to do that in the same 3 areas many times. Also there's basically no new soundtracks besides "Katamari on the funk" (great song btw) which is too bad, even though all the PS2 Katamari music is great. Anyway, besides that issue it's still Katamri at the end of the day, meaning it's fun and weird and addictive.

Also I want more of that 8-bit Katamari from the credits...

The best Mario Party on N64, better than 2

“My vengeance ends now”

An incredible conclusion to this trilogy. God of War III takes what works in the first two games and improves everything. The combat is wonderful, it’s so smooth and satisfying and works better than ever, with the absolute best selection of weapons in the whole series. Every moment of this game is invigorating, every set piece and puzzle is great, and watching Kratos effortlessly rip through the gods and titans is way too satisfying. The graphics are incredible, it doesn’t even look like a PS3 game. The story is great and sets such a perfect ending for this trilogy. I recommend God of War III and the previous two entries to everyone, easily one of gamings finest trilogies.
