Only played this for the first time in 2020 so maybe that factors into my opinion on it. Personally, while I find the story to be a masterpiece, the gameplay, while still very good, feels not quite as fluid as I would like it to be. Playing this back-to-back with Part 2 really made me realize that the gameplay could definitely have been a little smoother.

Easily my most played game ever. The gameplay was just so much fun. Also one of the first games I bought after getting the Xbox One. Wish there was more longevity with it but I can't really complain about any $40 game that gives me well over 500 hours worth of content.

There are definitely some issues I have with this game, but ultimately I love it.

Only played this for an hour, but it's definitely not for me. The gameplay was solid but I just knew I wouldn't get invested in this.

Played about 5-10 hours of this and while I enjoyed it I never really got fully invested. I want to come back and play through this when I have a giant amount of time to devote to it.

Liked what I played, just never got around to getting through this. I know I will come back to this one weekend and just grind out the game though.

Played through most but not all of this game when I was younger. Can't say that I remember it well enough to fully rate it but I have fond memories of the game overall.

Played a solid amount of this but never really loved it. It's alright but nothing I really wanted to finish.

I really should get to the King of Cards campaign at some point because all three of these that I've played have been so much fun.

Played a mission or two back when this came out and it didn't really hook me. I'd like to give it another shot but I think I'll just wait for the next game on the series x and ps5.

Genuinely probably my least favorite game ever. I couldn't care less if all the Pokemon aren't in the game or anything, I just thought everything about this was lazy. The story was awful, the gameplay was the worst in the series, and the game looks horrible. There design of the world as well was really bland with hardly any memorable moments in the whole game. The open zones were easily the most memorable locals but they felt far too barren to be all that much fun to play in. Probably won't pick up any mainline Pokemon until next gen at this point.

Played a couple of hours of this and it was fine. Definitely won't beat this though.

I think I only bought this because the switch was pretty new and I wanted something to hold me over until Mario Odyssey. Unfortunately, this game was not it. Pushed through and ended up beating the game even if I didn't really enjoy it. I heard the new Fire Emblem Warriors is much better but I don't think I'm ever going to play a Warriors game again unless Nintendo decides to make a gamepass service.

Great art throughout this game and extremely fun gameplay as well.
