This game had fun gameplay but overall felt lacking in content. Really it fell into the same predicament as Halo Infinite, love playing the game but there's not a ton to do unless you enjoy just playing casual multiplayer over and over again. It seems like content has pretty much stopped releasing at this point which is a shame, wanted to see this game succeed.

This is probably my least favorite Mario Kart that I've owned in my life. I was too young at the time to be any good at snaking or even just drifting in general, so I don't think I really got the proper experience with this one. Still played the game to death though.

Allowed me to just turn my brain off for 10 hours and have fun with the insane hack-and-slash gameplay.

Short and sweet with a gorgeous score from Austin Wintory. There are several moments sprinkled throughout this that are truly unlike anything I've played in a game. I wish there was a bit more to the gameplay at times though as some segments felt slightly unnecessary to the overall game.

One of the most purely fun gameplay experiences you can have. Mainly I just wish that the story was a little bit better, particularly I remember finding the ending to be underwhelming. Still, the game is a blast and could easily go up to a 9 if I replay it

Peak Mario Kart. The deluxe is better for sure, but this has fantastic core gameplay. 200cc was also just a brilliant addition. Amazing original courses too and the best soundtrack of the series. Lakitu can fuck off though

One of my favorite games ever, love that it's still getting content. Can't wait for Mario Kart 9 though.

Only played this for the first time in 2020 so maybe that factors into my opinion on it. Personally, while I find the story to be a masterpiece, the gameplay, while still very good, feels not quite as fluid as I would like it to be. Playing this back-to-back with Part 2 really made me realize that the gameplay could definitely have been a little smoother.

There are definitely some issues I have with this game, but ultimately I love it.

Not my favorite Mario Kart by any means, but it was pretty good. I will say it has a lot of good courses and the gliding mechanics are much better in this than in 8.

I think 8 Deluxe is the overall better game, but this is still probably my personal favorite Mario Kart. Incredibly unbalanced, but that is almost what makes it fun at times. Funky Flame Runner with the inside drift and wheelies makes this so satisfying to play and master.

Played about 5-10 hours of this and while I enjoyed it I never really got fully invested. I want to come back and play through this when I have a giant amount of time to devote to it.

I really should get to the King of Cards campaign at some point because all three of these that I've played have been so much fun.

Genuinely probably my least favorite game ever. I couldn't care less if all the Pokemon aren't in the game or anything, I just thought everything about this was lazy. The story was awful, the gameplay was the worst in the series, and the game looks horrible. There design of the world as well was really bland with hardly any memorable moments in the whole game. The open zones were easily the most memorable locals but they felt far too barren to be all that much fun to play in. Probably won't pick up any mainline Pokemon until next gen at this point.

I think I only bought this because the switch was pretty new and I wanted something to hold me over until Mario Odyssey. Unfortunately, this game was not it. Pushed through and ended up beating the game even if I didn't really enjoy it. I heard the new Fire Emblem Warriors is much better but I don't think I'm ever going to play a Warriors game again unless Nintendo decides to make a gamepass service.
