The epitome of a perfect fighting game with one of the best OSTs in this respective genre. A forever classic.

One of the most memorable stories of the 7th/8th generation with so much to do. A favorite of all time for me which left an impact most games don’t nowadays.

While it may be dated, this game holds a special place in my heart as it was my first ever game. From the amazing OST to the introduction of the chao garden, it’s definitely an iconic Sonic title.

If I had to give a spot to a #1 for my favorite game ever, this would be it. Not only being an amazing game, the original PS2 game opened the gate for me to get into FF and more Japanese media as well. Everything started here.

I know the general view on this title is “the black sheep of the PSX era,” but it’s much more than that. Containing one of the best OSTs the series has to offer and found Squall to be a more interesting protagonist than Cloud in the sense of his more relatable struggles.

The perfect remake. This is the blueprint any developer should follow when calling a game a “remake.” Peak survival horror which is always fun to boot up and navigate through after mastering it.

Loved this game as a kid, but trying to play it now I didn’t realize how horrible the controls have aged for ground combat. Used to play the Vs. mode with the family way back when, good times.

This is how you bring back a dormant IP, and especially a niche genre such as beat ‘em ups. One of the more replayable games in the genre, too as with the DLC you can choose between different moves or play as bosses. Hoping to see Skate if there’s a 5!

Bought this on release date with higher hopes, but the ending seemed to drag on and character development slowed. The combat was fun, but lack of enemy types had me bored and wanting to finish it quickly.

Probably my #5 when it comes to RE because the train setting is one of my favorites. Despite the lack of an item box and a lot of back and forth trying to pick up items, it is still an iconic survival horror experience with best girl Rebecca.

A really good remake that has some of the best replayability in the series. Wish Claire’s routes were more interesting, in comparison to Leon, is my biggest complaint. The RE engine really shines here and opened my eyes to the potential of future titles/remakes.

Hot off the heels of the successful RE2 Remake, this game felt like a slap in the face. Cutting content and lacking the replayability factors other titles have, I was dissatisfied with the quality here.

The best of the Persona dancing games hands down with really good remixes. Nice to see the lovable cast again with a new story in one of the better rhythm games out there.

A shame this fighter never took off between bad marketing and horrible netcode, but it is one of my favorite recent fighting games because of how it plays and the fun selection of characters.

My first Seiken Densetsu game and I thoroughly enjoyed it. While the same few songs may repeat in the same areas, I never got annoyed by them and found the world to be fun to navigate through. The stories of the characters were cool, combat was basic, but definitely one of those games to boot up when you want to just chill.
