Really interesting that Capcoms first game was a game about World War 2. The same war where Japan themselves were the bad guys. It makes sense since a lot of Capcoms games are targeted at an American audience, but still a little shocking.

I only did one of the scenarios, but I had fun despite its flaws thumbs up emoji

Some of the best pieces of media have come from adaptions. Whether its with movies like Fight Club turning a forgettable book into a classic movie, or maybe its Madhouse taking One Punch Man from an ugly webcomic to one of the most beloved anime series ever made. One thing (at least as far as I'm aware of) that has never been adapted into a piece of media has been a pizza. While Pinneapple on Pizza is mostly just a goofy meme game, I'm kind of fascinated by the idea of adapting the concepts and themes of pineapple pizza and visualizing it in the form of a video game. I'm definitely all for that kind of weird shit even if the final product is just an unfunny meme game.

The Last of Us 2 Dilemma: How can the player properly care about the themes of the game, when the game itself is so simple, fun, and rewarding?

had to beef with the mods just to get this game added, but we did it. Fetish Fighters is officially listed as being a video game that exists, and it sucks!

I mean it's hard to go wrong with the Crazy Taxi formula, but at the same time it kinda just doesn't do anything that made Crazy Taxi so good. A forgettable map with barely any landmarks, no tricks or maneuvers, and boring characters are just a few issues I had with this game. It's pretty much just a really cool concept for a Crazy Taxi game made by an amateur low budget developer. I would normally be hesitant to trash on a game if the devs were at least good people, but every bit of promotional material for this game seems really suspicious with a lot of it just not looking like the final product at all.

sometimes the ai opponent will buzz in and just respond with gibberish and i think thats really funny

I could've taken more time to learn the mechanics, but I think the ending where the guy kills himself is much funnier so I don't think I will.

Really good cart racer held back by the fact that completing everything it has to offer means to race the same 5 tracks 5 times. First playthrough is fun enough though. The fun art style and great handling kept me interested; I loved seeing how the carts would move when I would take on a turn. Even with the lack of tracks, I still had a great time with them just from how well-designed they are. Great game and a really interesting predecessor to Gran Turismo

my jaw dropped when i realized that this is just the original monkeyball game from the gamecube on the fucking gba

When are mfs gonna realize complexity doesn't automatically make a video game better. You could say The Last of Us 2 has 400 layers of symbolism and I wouldn't give a shit cuz I thought Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing was funnier and had more of an impact on me.

I crashed my car and the whole game crashed. Neat game tho!

Had a fun time playing this. I was trying to place myself into the shoes of someone playing this for the first time when it came out. I'm imagining being a kid and watching Star Wars and just eagerly waiting for an official Star Wars video game after spending so much time playing all the imitation games trying to capitalize on the success of the movie, but without the actual license. While I was playing the DOS version, I would love to get a chance to play the arcade version some day. Being able to sit down in the cabinet would be the perfect time machine for the 80's. The DOS version was still fun, but I imagine the arcade version being equivalent to a thrill ride.

Flawed game with some amazing set pieces
