Creative way to make turn based combat actually enjoyable. Practically devoid of pointless exercises of tedium. The humor does take off a lot of points.

Mid ass character roster with too many shoto characters a lot of fan favourites snubbed, but some good suprises.
Cheap ass AI.
Having to beat the 1 try secret fights to get the endings.
Wierd mechanics.
The method of playing the secret characters on the arcade version.
Had some premise, but cvs2 is way more worth your time.
