Alan Wake II is a remarkable triumph in creativity and gaming as a whole.
Spider-Man 2 is undoubtedly an improvement. However, both the original and Miles Morales were still great looking games with great stories and great gameplay. So while Spider-Man 2 improves, each change feels so incremental that in the end its a significantly less impressive experience. The most impressive new thing is the very quick fast travel, but who really needs that in a game where the traversal is its most appealing mechanic?

They brought back caves, I could not be happier. Well worth the wait. Perhaps this will do well enough Pikmin 5 isn't so far away

Combat as deep as you'll let it be, gripping story, fantastic set pieces. Its got it all, as long as you can ignore the lacking side content.

It feels like for every great thing about Odyssey, there's at least a couple minor things that hold it back from being what it could. Worth checking out if you're a fan, but maybe not at full price

It needs some patches badly, and being developed the same time as Arceus when they weren't sure if that format was a winner definitely hurt it. However it remains some of the best Pokémon gameplay to date
