Alan Wake II is a remarkable triumph in creativity and gaming as a whole.

They brought back caves, I could not be happier. Well worth the wait. Perhaps this will do well enough Pikmin 5 isn't so far away

This is the peak of strategy games, zombie games and farming games all in one.

Seeing how this game has turned out has convinced me that the gaming industry needs to focus on duologies instead of stretching out trilogies. Talk about not pulling any punches

Truly disastrous that they'd charge full price for a game that is still in the conceptualization stage of development

Often I'm pretty strict about what gets a 10/10, and this game has more flaws then I do fingers, but this is one of few games where there was never a second I didnt love every moment of

Stylish, fast paced and unique. It's everything I want in a game

I only wish I could rate it higher

Lacking heart or anything beyond surface level intrigue. Some lovely locations but the rest is shallow

It feels like for every great thing about Odyssey, there's at least a couple minor things that hold it back from being what it could. Worth checking out if you're a fan, but maybe not at full price

The simplistic and repetitive nature doesn't stop Dead Island 2 from being the perfect game to play on a weekend. Good dumb fun

The gameplay may leave a bit to be desired, but the universe is so fully realized and intertwined in ways that captivated me start to finish

Has a certain air of nostalgia to it, for both the good and the bad of previous generations

As far as remakes go, this is undoubtedly one of the best

Quite disappointing in the end, but severely overhated
