Better game design, newer cooler tricks, basically the proper start of the Metal Gear narrative.
Still makes you do some stupid shit to add time, but bosses this time were somewhat more fun, the final encounters were ok, and the visuals improved a lot. Just the opening cutscene does a lot of work.
Did not regret finishing.

With a guide - bearable, otherwise - who the fuck knows how to progress.

It's like, an exceptionally good game.
Best thing Remedy made. Learned all the best things from their previous projects.
It's a tad too slow if you want to do 100% like I did, but the good outweighs the not so good.
Another comment I'd add is that it's VERY inspired by the third season of Twin Peaks (called THE RETURN, btw), and even though I personally don't like that season, this game makes similar ideas more fun.

It’s fine, but for me personally - overbloated and boring-ish.
Standard Sony exclusive shit lol.

It’s a good VN, with an interesting concept and formula, and it definitely kept me hooked, once I got through the early chapters.
I still find it too wordy in places, it likes to repeat itself a lot, and some of the plotpoints move a tad too slow, even after being firmly established.
But yeah, cool art direction, nice writing.
However I have to say, I do not think that the music here is universally good.
One thing in particular is that you really should think twice before putting vocal songs in your VN, even if the language is gibberish. Those songs consistently distracted me from reading an otherwise fun part.
And generally, the music can be hit or miss, considering the VN and genre choices. Like, the composer definitely felt more comfortable with mellow piano pieces (I heard that Clair de lune reference!), than… whatever the hell was the music in chapter 3.
Anyway, I had fun.

About as good as a Sony Exclusive can get.
A sequel in the truest of meanings - it’s basically the same game as the first 2, Celt with better graphics and new mechanics.
I’d even say that the story here is the best in series, as simple as it is.
Had a great fun beating it, the traversal is still fun.

Fun city, fun freerunning, pretty mid story.
ultimately enjoyed it.

2.0 was good, quest quality of the expansion is leagues better than some of the main quests of the original game.
New endings are interesting as an alternative, however I feel like they could do just a tad more to be incorporated in the main plot.
Gameplay improved for sure, builds actually make more sense now, and crafting is no longer OP, like in 1.0, which is good. Like balance-wise, in 1.0 I could wipe bosses and enemy stacks with a click of a net runner skill, now that build is a tad harder to achieve, and I feel it’s kinda less fun.
Anyway, glad I replayed it, graphics good, music good, Idris Elba is amazing.

Probably all-time best story in a Ryu Ga Gotoku series, however the JRPG part is starting to not be as fun in the later part of the game, where you basically have to grind to somewhat progress in the story.
Hopefully Judgement will pick up the beat em up roots.

It's pretty mid tbh.
The music is boring, the mechanics are simple, and it does not give you the flow that even doom 2016 had.
Otherwise totally solid.

fun but really hard, if you use "i am the chosen one" logic
Update, did a chosen one grifter run.
It kinda sucked ngl
Knocking down the score a little lol

Had it installed for about 4 years, and was reading it on and off for a while.
It really is just a book with photos, but a pretty fun one.

Somehow i liked Kingmaker better.
Too much busywork here tbh.
Writing was good, gameplay was eeehh, to complicated for a writing based game (for my liking anyway).
Music really good.
Also holy shit the puzzles here suck

Simple and fun.
Really good music, simple platforming and a neat enough story.
Liked it better than the og JSR.
