Yeah, I am that weirdo who does not get Outer Wilds.
I really like it, but do not love it. I think it's the controls which are realistic, but also floaty, wobbly and unprecise. Some puzzles exspect you to accidentally stumble upon the clue (looking at you Tower of Quantum Knowledge). While I think the physics sandbox is fantastic, the feels never got me. I thought it was more shallow than deep in the thought provoking factor. Furthermore they really botched it for people who have motion sickness, it is hardly (in some cases even not) playable.
Listen to the others, I would call it solid, but not a masterpiece.
