Ten Most Difficult Games I've Ever Beat
I don't think this list will be super impressive or anything but I like the idea of it.

Very comfortable saying this is the hardest game I have ever beat. It throws everything at you and expects you to use tools from the Sphere Grid you might not even have known you were supposed to at all. I could not beat the final boss without Rikku's 9999 mix. Several of the Seymour fights were just insane. Probably the most RPG bullshit I've ever dealt with

Beat every single monster (up through Fatalis and both Arch-tempereds) took probably the most preparation of anything I've ever done in a game before. I loved every second of it but wow it was not easy. Basically just bigger scale dark souls, having to prepare properly for each of the game's hardest fights.

Self-explanatory honestly. Beat every boss in about 60 hours, hardest for me by far was Sister Friede who alone took about 4-5 hours of my time.

Also self-explanatory. Fought every boss but Owl Father over two playthroughs (one being the Shura Ending)

Genuinely think this is the hardest 1st party Nintendo game of all time. Absolutely brutal, does not hold back. I 100% this game and it is one of my favorite games of all time but it absolutely destroyed me as it does just about anyone who plays through it.

The hardest 2D Metroid for me. Some of the individual Metroids are an absolute nightmare to fight and the bosses are really cool but often incredibly difficult.

Self-explanatory as well, just a really hard Metroidvania, but in a good way. There aren't too many bosses that took me that long but the combination of the brutal areas like Deepnest and the challenging platforming segments on TOP of the boss battles make this game difficult in nearly all aspects.

Played on Ultra Violence. Died a lot

Didn't take me too long to beat this but I'd be lying if it didn't throw me around quite a bit. Instant respawn with a complete lack of a death penalty makes the game SEEM easier than it is I think, but at its core it can be exceptionally difficult.
