I dig the idea of auto-chess, but I didn't get it.

A worthy multiplayer indie experience and considering that I rate most them low says something about this game.

My god I so badly want to hate this game. Its clunky, laggy and the first 4 levels are a complete drag.

My wife has been playing this game with her father every week for like 9 years, like 2 months ago I felt bad she was getting out leveled by her dad so I decided to bite the bullet and play this game with her to help her get ahead when they had a huge content giveaway.... Holy hell this game is actually really fun after the first few rooms. I actually like this out of date game and I can see thats why there are still people playing it. I got into this game in 2023.

This game is all about crashes when you alt-tab.

This was the game that turned me into a PC gamer for life, I didn't have an xbox 360 at the time and my mom got me a Radeon GPU to play this game that the box and the people at the store told my mom would work... Nothing. So went back and got a NVidia gpu and fell in love with oblivion.
Ever since then I've helped build over 1000 computers and tell everyone this story to help them understand why 77% of PC gamers still buy Nvidia.

Its like they just keep making MMOs of good RPGs for no reason other than making a few extra bucks, I'd rather them make lore friendly gotcha games instead of burning all that development time on lethal injections like these... I'd still play it if my wife wanted to.

Also this thing has a total BS bug where you can't have 6/7/8 series intel CPUs overclocked without instacrashing- clearly an AMD fanboy works on this project.

This is one of those games I buy because I get really excited about a genre and only play once or twice. if you can convince a group of people who probably have civilization 5 or 6 to play this over civ then I bet it could be a really fun time.

Multiplayer games are fun, if you have friends who want to play with you. This game has the aesthetic to justify a play or two, and if you really want to grind out something cool this is second to heros of hammerwatch, but all the same there are so many more multiplayer games that have a wider appeal.

In 2022 this game is more fun to watch someone play than play yourself, I'm sure there are atleast 20 people who have recorded themselves playing, do that instead, this game is mostly frustration confusion and reloading.

Its actually really cool and I had alot of fun when it came out, I think people like to hate this game because they are more interested in non-game aesthetic things like the lore, dialogue, and world building, which I will agree is not the strong suit here. Granted its within an already established world so it doesn't spend as much time explaining things, much like every game in a series. However that being said the gameplay is unbelievably better than Fall out 1 and 2 it's honestly a joke that people compare them. As for the later entries Fallout 4 feels like a tighter core system with a weird collection mechanic, and Fallout new vegas is was a rushed buggy mess. honestly it may be the best "fallout" entry when evaluated on the actual in game experience. But don't get it twisted you won't complete it feeling like you've had some profound existential experience, if that is what you are looking for I recommend Nietzsche.

This game crashes moving on the map causes glitches. I think it may have been worth a shot back in the day but real fire isn't a selling point these days.

Definitely the best far cry. I think the cover villain is the best part of the game.

I had a lot of fun playing this game, the series was coming off a high point with 3 and 4 and you can feel its not getting better here but overall the core game is still pretty fun.

A few too many unacceptable bugs, I got teleported to the final area as a result of some glitch giving me immediate access to the best weapons in chests making the game silly easy to run through. I feel an actor alone cannot save what is more of a by the numbers game, I still enjoyed it but wasn't nearly as good as 4 or close to 3.

Multiplayer game worth playing but realistically not a first or second pick. We played it for the name alone, if it were called anything else I don't think we would have touched it. They really should just remake gauntlet dark legacy on PC.
