I am so impressed with World Tour.

Story is servicable, but it’s amazing to me how it’s basically a big, natural tutorial teaching you the game both in practice and theory. Masters system letting you slowly get to know each character, some sidequests being mini tutorials for certain mechanics, smaller enemies overusing certain tactics (throwing, jumping, projectiles etc.) so you can learn how to counter them… It’s all making you comfortable with the game, building the courage to go fight online and so on. Truly great stuff

And c’mon Cammy can send you cat stickers and Ryu is a boomer who can’t use his phone but tries really hard. It’s all so cute

Kind of a mixed bag but overall pretty cool game

I always underestimate how much I love Resident Evil games and 4 especially. Well, no more bullshit. This game fucking rules. Leon is so cool. I love Ashley. Luis is now also really good. Weirdly, this game gives me much comfort despite being like super gross and spooky at times. Masterpiece

There really is nothing like a good ol’ Yakuza/Like a Dragon game. I love them so much

Why did I put like 40h into this game. What am I

I love the feeling of playing/watching/reading something and going like „Ah yes. This shit and feelings it gives me just wouldn’t be possible in any other medium”.

I feel like certain beautiful simplicity got lost with the ENORMOUS scale this game has (both in terms of story and gameplay) compared to the first one which makes it a bit less focused and impactful for me but it’s still handling all this stuff really good so you gotta appreciate that. Acting and music continues to blow my mind

When it comes to gameplay it can get repetetive but the stylized way of telling this completely filled with passion for the genre story makes it a truly timeless game for me

Gameplay is serviceable at best and it has a lot of technical issues but the overall charm as well as surprisingly well written and acted characters made it a pretty fun game. Also…

bungerbungerbunger

Can’t experience it to the fullest with multiplayer, but even single was pretty fun

I am mighty impressed just how immersive this game is. Everything from overall game design to little things like sound design of your footsteps is just brilliant at really making you feel like you’re on your own in this mansion and have to slowly gain confidence in overcoming it’s challenges which was just the best feeling I could get.

Sure, fixed camera can get a little funky and annoy from time to time, but I would never take it away because of how great it builds atmosphere and just how beatiful some shots are.

Great game, I’m surprised just how well it holds up in many aspects

I think I underestimate just how good Resident Evil games are and how much fun they give me

Such a weird experience. On the one hand, there were a lof of moments when I wanted to drop it because of some annoying stuff and inconsistencies in direction of the whole thing. On the other tho, something was just keeping me in and I’m not exactly sure what. Stylized presentation? Satysfying headshots? Great single moments bursting with dread and/or creativity? I dunno, but there is definitely something weirdly engaging in it for me

RGG Studio is just keep getting better at this and I honestly don’t know how it’s possible with already so many great games but it absolutely freakin’ rules

Completing this remaster makes it a third time I beat this game and boy, I just love it. It can be mediocre open world most of the time, it can have not that exciting boss fights most of the time and the bits when you’re not playing as Spider-Man can really drag on the third playthrough. But there’s also the swinging, the combat and most of all, this version of Peter Parker and his world, created with so much love for the charcter that in the end it’s all worth it.
