Still the best element of it is parkour and figuring out on the run the best way to reach your target. Everything else is mid at best. The combat is especially junky and tedious at times.

Guys I’m just saying. If the third game IN A ROW in the series makes you cry then you know there’s just something special about it and Yakuza LAD is special for me.

How the hell did they manage to change so much and yet managed to retain so much of what Yakuza is. Do the fight system has problems? Yeah, it does, almost every Yakuza game has some in that field in my opinion. But it’s not stoping it from being a system that is fit for this series, full of over the top crazy and fun stuff with much love and creativity behind it. And don’t even get me started on how well it’s crafted into the story and Ichiban’s personality. RGG Studios still got it and I’m excited for the future.

I „completed” it, yes, but I gotta do the secret ending still. This game is just… wow. Not only the combat system is absolutely amazing showing at last that the one-button-for-punch-one-for-counter isn’t the only way to make hand to hand combat system in games, but it also looks stunning.

So many visually pleasing and creative locations here with a mix of grounded reality and mysticism (the museum level ❤️) It’s only february, but Sifu is already a strong contender for GOTY in my book.

Edit: got the true ending. So good man.

I haven’t been this immersed in a videogame since Divinity: OS 2 and Witcher 3. You literally forget about the world around you because the one in Disco Elysium is so captivating. Just a beatifully crafted world with on of the best writing in gaming history.

Really solid gameplay that feels like it was made with some design book always at devs fingertips which maybe doesn’t provide especially creative or innovative mechanics (still fun tho), but they’re perfectly fine because the main appeal of the game for me are the music and visuals of course. One of my favourite games to take photos in, beatiful.

And cute. Just cute.

Kinda amazing how it tells a whole life story of someone using only rooms and objects. The items that stay no matter what, items that there are no place for when there should etc. Really nice

Life won’t simply taste the same after finishing Kiryu’s story, man. I’ll always remember these games. Such a great ending to a long running series, full of heart and emotion.

It’s one of those games that hit me especially hard for some really weird, heavy subjective reasons. I could stay here longer and write about them, but all you „need” to know is that this gem of a game reminded me of why I love Marvel universe since I was a kid, how exciting it was to discover it through different media back in the day. I remembered that child-like wonder over fictional worlds and characters, that innocent time in life when it seemed like I’m living more in those worlds than the real one. I needed this.

And on top of that, you get this amazing writing - telling a story that touches a lot heavy stuff and yet features a scene where a guy called „Star-Lord” catches his walkman in the air with a space dragon behind him.

And. It. Works.

That child-like excitement and more serious stuff merged together, gives me, in my opinion, some really great flurkin’ game.

This game is a definition of MASSIVE. I feel overwhelmed and amazed at the same time. The amount of stuff happening both in terms of gameplay and story is crazy. One of the most ambitious game I’ve ever played. There were times I adored this game and there were times I almost hated it. It’s a bag of mixed feelings for me for now, gotta give this game some time in my head.

I'm kinda surprised how I'm keep coming back to this series considering racing games aren't really my thing. It's super fun and there's so much variety in the activies, everyone will find something for himself.

Plus these games are just perfect Fast and Furious adaptaions at this point, with these over the top special races and I love it.

Pretty basic and OK gameplay, but the relationship between our two characters is superb. Loved it

My first Metroid that I completed and I absolutely loved it. Tight combat and exploration never got me bored, everything was dynamic and straight to the point, bosses were fantastic - challenging but fair. I honestly didn’t expect to like it that much but here we are

The plot overall is definitely the weakest point of the whole game, but I can forgive a lot if the characters are good. And Yakuza 4 has some really good characters. I love how everyone is unique and likeable for different reasons. This variety also serves the gameplay, everyone’s style is different enough to feel fresh. Also, I feel like directing was much better than in the previous entry. Overall not my favourite Yakuza, but a damn fine one nonetheless.

And come on, if the legendary Dragon of Dojima, Fourth Chairman of the Tojo Clan, a living legend got pissed on his face by a baby while changing his diaper, then you know it’s a great entry in the series.

An absolute gem of a platformer. Can’t believe a continuation of a classic like the first game turned out so great after so many years

The story and intrigue is insanely well crafted. It naturally unfolds before us and doesn’t use cheap plot twists out of nowhere. One of the best storytelling in Yakuza series next to Yakuza 0.
