It has potential and a few pretty good moments but the story isn't really engaging and overall gameplay (which doesn't really know what it wants to be) is so boring and meaningless (I'm looking at you RPG elements and sanity meter) that in the end I wouldn't say I enjoyed it very much

:: PLAYED THE TRILOGY VERSION ON STEAM::

I genuinely didn’t expect this game to be so engaging. The amount of satisfaction that comes from figuring these cases out is unreal. All thanks to great stories and minimalistic but very expressive animations to support them. Loved it even tho episode 5 felt a bit long. It’s still great, but the closer I got to the end, the more I felt like the game throws twists at me for the sake of twists rather than give me feeling of discovering the truth that was always there. Don’t know if that makes any sense but that’s how I felt

The amount of ideas and creativity bursting from every level in this game is amazing

First hour in, I thought I’ll leave it because of the weird controls and stop and shoot system (I played it only knowing RE2 remake and RE7) but I quickly got used to it and realized how much it adds to overall sense of fighting for survival where every bullet counts while still being a big blockbuster body horror that this game is. Pacing is a little off near the end but it’s nothing that could ruin my experience with this really well designed and extremely fun game.

Tight and challenging platformer with super satisfying sense of becoming better by simply understanding the game better and learning to connect all those various skills and weapons you gain along the way.

Bonus points for of course beatiful pixel art and music but what’s also great is this weird, cyber-mystic world that I really enjoyed to explore. Great game, that’s what I’m trying to say.

Wait, I actually... Like horror games? What is happening?

The gameplay might've been boring for me in some parts but there is just so much heart here put into every aspect of the game. Art, animations, music, practically every character is lovable in some way, unique and have interesting background.

And ummmm...

It is possible I cried a little when escorting one of the spirits. Absolutely beatiful game with sometimes tedious gameplay.

I tried 2 times to play this game - before playing the trilogy and after when still fresh in hype for Mass Effect universe. Didn't matter. I literally left it at the same point in the game which is a little after meeting Peebee. I really want to give it a chance but I can't even force myself to do it

I'll give this game one thing except great setting. It's super addictive

I generally don't have much care for Assassin's Creed franchise but from time to time I'm getting really excited for particular title and it was one of them. Game itself was OK, glad they tried to refresh AC formula even if just a little

I don't know what's there to hate really. It's more or less the same level this franchise got us used to plus it has probably the most satisfying looking parkour in the series

I wanna give it another shot someday because younger me was still on Ezio hype and it all just felt wrong but I fear this game didn't age well like almost every Assassin's Creed

Welp, I tried, I did but just too late i think

I remember being so hyped for this and my mom so pissed of at my dad for buying me this when I was definitely under age of 18

Look, we know it has problems (to put it lightly) everyone already talked about but it's still CD Projekt. They again made me really care about fictional characters, put the first person perspective to a really good use and directed the hell out of it as well as animated it
