this game is so unabashedly the shit, so many playable characters and so much style and i love and miss this post y2k sound design and vibe a lot of shit had from this era. Its seriously my favorite aesthetic ever and this game is so good, hell the character select screen and the win results look your character is a runway model or getting shot for a sports magazine rather than some random bundled up schmuck in a jacket that says nothing and just sees a trophy png and thats it
it's the kind of sauce that you cant rly depend on anyone triple A to do anymore really

the gameplay itself is fun! if not pretty hard because like other boarding based games of the era
you fuck uppp, you bump into trees,,, you get that perfect trick combo ruined by some geometry wanting to nip your nuts off yeahhhh it happenssss
and I also appreciate how much there is to unlock but.... being fr just gonna use a cheat code for it anyways because i want to see all the fun costumes and get a feel for everyone that isnt just Elise
even if she is the shit and she knows it
cop alt kinda eyebrow raise inducing
but shes canadians' black panther otherwise(probably, im not canadian)

Really good game. Story wise its a bit simple and straightforward for a Yakuza game but when the big moments hit it delivers. Ichiban is one of the best protagonist introductions and its no wonder why everyone loves him. The man wears his heart on his sleeves and is the most positive and lovable character in a endearing way. I was really invested in everything tied to the Arakawa family and Ichiban's past and its really what drives this story forward for me.

The game has great fanservice and passing of the torch, turn based gameplay that once you get used to its really addicting, and one of the best final chapter climax, among the higher tier RGG games for sure.

Growing up I could never really get into Pokémon. I found it overwhelming and my little brain can’t handle an ounce of planning. But playing through Violet completely changed that for me. Exploring this brilliant world and interacting with its amazing cast of characters made me fall in love with Paldea. To its themes of finding your “Treasure” to Nemona’s constant need for a battle. Its charm never ended.

Seeing my favs interact at the end and having this feeling of being in a party felt so satisfying in the final area. I can’t wait for Pokémon to hopefully move forward from this game and make their stories even better and the worlds even bigger!

Thank you my treasured friends 🌟

This game is such a vibe but like also the characters are really sexy so I’m a bit confused

relationship ended with SPLATOON 2 now SPLATOON 3 is my new best friend

Im so salty that i bought this pile of crap i felt like i got tricked paying full price for a nostalgia bait game only to be slapped in the face with a budget story campaign being my only thanks for buying this day 1. And now its no longer being supported. Shit like this makes me hate Square.

played this drunk with other britney fans and had a blast. there are only five songs but you unlock these weird experimental 3d immersive concert videos that are honestly cool and ahead of their time

this game did something impossible and made black betty and eye of the tiger cool

i cant believe they made an entire world where trans people can surf

If I had to place a bet between Half-Life 3 or this game getting finished first, I'd put my money on Half-Life 3.

Stray

2022

Before 2022, if you asked me what the cutest post-apocalytic game was, it would have obviously been Pikmin 3. But now we've got Kirby and the Forgotten Land AND Stray??

Stray is great! It felt at first like it was going to be a straightforward exploration-focused game, but there's a lot more Early 90s Sierra influence than I expected. The world is beautiful and just the right size; each time I started to feel like an area was too big to not get lost in, I would suddenly start to get my bearings. The environments are well laid-out enough that I could now point you towards any location of interest from memory. I still wouldn't have said no to a Metroid Prime-esque map, but it's not as harmful of an omission here as it was in something like Supraland or The Gunk.

Anyhow. Stray emphasizes that it's nice to go outside. That there's a need to escape from the city now and then. Which means THIS banger kept popping into my head during my playthrough (sorry @Alexizaki it's not what you're thinking): https://youtu.be/Yvg8p0wKiJo

Mute kid starts a rock collection, then takes a nap. After waking, decides he's too old for dumb rocks, he collects coins now.

You can suplex a ghost train, like c'mon!!

Absolutely any npc: Exists

Harry: makes the most unbelievably communist comment a human being can imagine and proceeds to do the most schizophrenic thing anyone has ever seen

Kim Kitsuragi: I swear, I've never seen this man in my entire life.
