this game reaches higher highs than i think video games have any right to it is goddamn peak fiction. this is one of the greatest video games of all fucking time. when the next part comes out in 4 years it will literally break my fucking brain im pretty sure i think im going to actually just die. it was so insanely good.

lemme start with the good: i loved the setting and the scenario. the end of the game was less my speed, but that's just my own tastes. i love seeing the world try its best to pick up the pieces after war ravages its countries. i also really loved vivi, i think he had an awesome arc and his arc is the only reason that i ended up liking zidane's arc. vivi is one of the best characters in the franchise, for sure. also i share a name with one of the main characters so 👍🏾
that said, i tried to go into this with tempered expectations, but i think my experience with fandom hyping this game as the best final fantasy definitely played a factor in my opinion. fans' mouths wrote a check that ff9 couldnt cash out, and thats ok. not every ff has to be for everyone, and i'm still glad i played it.

i could say an infinite amount of great things about this game, but i will forego that and give it the highest praise i can: i am so glad i played this game. it was truly beautiful.

i did not complete this game but i beat 2 chapter bosses! very fun, very challenging. i dont really want to keep playing it but it is definitely a great game, i really love the mission based format, it works great for a difficult combat game like this.

this game is a genuine 10/10. i only got into ff7 mid 2023 but goddamn its peak! this game is made with every bit of care to be as true to the original and yet it still crams so much extra content that doesnt contradict the source material. my favorite part is the minigames all still suck fucking balls! just like the original!

this is a spiritual recreation of fate route and that is my favorite piece of literature so all i can say is peak fiction. the attention to detail in this game is fuckin insane, so many little moments that are kept consistent. musashi's theme is a big example of this. i love this game im so glad i played it even if i took my time through it.

the gameplay is pretty fun when you can play the game but a lot of the gameplay is just "dont get hit or youll get oneshot" and it really hampered my enjoyment of the game despite its remade gameplay... but zack is so fucking cool and awesome and goofy and hes cute like a puppy and his romance with aerith is the best its so wholesome and his friendship with cloud as 2 country bumpkins (me gongaga) bonding instantly rahhhhh!!!!!!! its fucking peak!!!!!!!!! my favorite scene was where he cut off sephiroth to yell "AND WHAT!!!!!"

incredible video gaming experience. it feels so buttery smooth to play, the cast is very fun in both serious and goofy ways and they all really are good friends. overall story i dont really care for too much and there are some themes they fumbled hardcore, but it is still a great and positive experience nonetheless

shit its ok... one of those games that i cant really fault for being the way that it is but i just hate how the themes dont really deliver to where I want them to. cant call it bad over that kinda bias imo. banger soundtrack as always tho

tatsuya ng+ (the most hype moment of the game is him opening a door). i could tell u everything about this game but ima keep it simple: if youre not a fan of the words: peak fiction, goat, raw, fire? click off the video

this game was awesome. great cast, excellent protagonist, no sexualization of the minors like we see in later persona games, one of the better plots in a video game of all time as well. it's peak

honestly? peak fiction. the whole setting is about the devastating effects of climate change that arise from capitalists (shinra) sucking the planet dry of its life and everywhere you go is a reflection of that. the story is awesome, cloud's dream sequence was incredible, all the characters have a reason to be there. my favorite character was barret because of all the party members he kept it real the most, he was always consistent. gotta give it -1 though because the game is old as balls and playing all the way from end of midgar to end of disc 2 was like impossible, the gameplay does not hold up. and that's fine! but i didnt fuck with it. definitely deserves all the praise it gets.

for a game so close to being perfect, the imperfections stand out a lot more. im not gone talk about those, this is a really really good game. the characters are awesome, the setting is even more expansive than before somehow, the story is dope, you get so much fucking time with it that when its over its like Man... its like i knew those characters as if they were people. i was empty for a minute. a really wonderful game. if u got 200 hours to put into it its absolutely worth it

the battle theme goes so fucking insane that they never came close to it again. this is a beautiful story and it still manages to feel so expansive like the base game. wonderful stuff.

this game does a lot of tell dont show for its themes that i hate, specifically centered around rex. i dont like it when games fail to deliver on their themes, but aside from that its a really great game. 200 hours on it, zeke is my goat. fucking incredible setting, dope story. but i just dont like rex, and hes very difficult to ignore.
