First Game of Each Console I've Played
in order of when i played them. just thought this would be a fun list to make and is more just charting the progression of consoles from my life than anything. will probably add/change stuff as i remember. will include where/roughly when if i can remember just for fun

Sega Genesis, played at a daycare in the gym my mom went to when I was 3-ish

PS2, played with my stepdad meeting him for the first time around 3-ish

N64, played with my mom and stepdad around 3

GBA, opened my spongebob gba sp early around christmas time while my mom was in the shower when i was 3

NES, played at my grandpas when i was 4 along with duck hunt

Gamecube, a gamecube was my birthday present from my mom and her friends when i was 4 and it came with sunshine, luigis mansion, double dash, and ttyd. i think this is the one i played first

Wii, my sisters birthday. probably a while after the game came out but im not sure

SNES, first thing my mom bought on wii virtual console. playing it with gamecube controllers made us all mad

PC, either this or pokemmo was the first thing my dad put on my first computer that had the desktop set to the box artwork of set 5614: The Good Wizard. must've been 7-8 or so

PS1, played at a friends house sometime vaguely after getting my computer and that's all i remember

DS, first game i got with my ds when i was like 8. gen 4 of pokemon had been out for like 4 years by that point and somehow it took me until that summer to get pokemon pearl, and my next birthday to get platinum.

Arcade, played at a pizza place at one of my birthday parties, around when i was 8

PS3, the start of my intense hyperfixation with character creation/custom characters. played with my dad and my younger sister when i was around 8

3DS, got my 3ds for christmas when i was like 9 i think? i just remember getting it before new leaf came out and that being the first game i ever bought day 1

PSP, first console i ever got emulated that wasn't one i already owned and it was to play a handheld version of budokai, which i already had on other consoles. literally only did this because paikuhan is my favorite dbz character. i was probably 9 or 10

Gameboy, got this the summer new leaf came out because of peanutbuttergamer so i was like 9

GameGear, same as harvest moon gb but because i remembered playing sonic as a kid

Xbox 360, when we got a 360 i didnt wanna play the dumb kinect games that we got it for, i wanted to play halo reach because my dad showed me halo 1 once and i thought it was awesome as hell. i think i was 10 or 11

Wii U, got the christmas after smash wii u came out along with a ness amiibo and earthbound for that same wii u because i was an earthbound fan excited to play it for the first time when i was 12

Dreamcast, hacked my wii to play it after getting super into jojos by starting with part 3 when i was like 14

Switch, played mario odyssey on the school bus during a band trip when i was 15 and when it first came out and it changed my life. sunk 100s of hours into it when i got my switch

PS4, got my ps4 just to play the rest of the yakuza/like a dragon/ryu ga gotoku games because i thought they were NEVER coming to pc and they got announced for pc like 2 months later when i was in the middle of 5. i was like 18 by then

there's this weird middle area (mostly after pc and before dreamcast) where im not at all sure if my memories are right but ive been wanting to make a list like this for a bit
it also makes me realize how much superhero adjacent stuff i had as a kid despite never actually caring outside of them looking cool
I might steal your idea at some point lol :P but yeah if this list shows anything it's that you've always had good taste in games lmao
tbf my taste in media mostly started forming into what it is now in like 2018 so like right after/before i got my switch lol
Lol unlike me who played the dog island in 2007 and just decided this was gonna be mu thing forever
added some recollections about when i first played these and about how old i think i was. ages 9-18 are very hazy for me memory wise but i hope somebody enjoys the peep into my gameing world and adventure O_O
I definitely enjoyed this recap of your Gameing Adventure.. I was gonna laugh at the Jojo game but then I remembered I owned 700+ usd worth of jjba figures/books as a young teen. bit of an epic fail on my part -_-
i still have to stop myself from buying the dead man's questions kira figure whenever i remember it lol
Kira figures were so dangerous to 15 year old me who was already obsessed with david bowie to begin with... it was ironically still a little bit hard to sell my bruno figmas I had for like, 5 years. I grew attached to the small italian man...
