I have a disease and it's called "I can't read or study without lo-fi and a pomodoro timer and a to-do list to tick things off" so this gamified lofi girl room feels made for me tbh

my first contact with okami was my dad bringing home an illegal copy of the PS2 version, little did he know it was completely in Japanese

and I finished this game, somehow

I am unable to roll without feeling angry (at these janky controls)

makes me feel smart when in reality im not

Played first 5h sometime during release on Gamepass, recently finally bought it on Steam because I am here to support niche passion projects especially coming from Obsidian.

And oh how I don't regret buying it.

The third act is so emotional and bittersweet. I wasn't ready to tear up during a labyrinth mini game. The little animations, the care that went into making every book, every painting, every dialogue. The feeling of getting closer to characters when sharing a meal. This game goes from a who dunnit mystery to something much deeper.

(Act II is slightly weaker but I love all three acts)

The fifth chapter dragged too much but otherwise very nice story and artstyle.

Pasqualina, you have to stop. You smoke too tough. Your swag too different. Your bitch is too bad. They'll kill you

super fun, rather simple mechanics while still being challenging at higher levels, cute characters, lots of good collabs!

im really bad at this game but it is so addicting

It promised a building full of cats and that's exactly what I got.

I had played a lot of RPG and action FPS before, but it was Bioshock that gave me the taste of a truly excellent narrative in games... as well as an unexpected plot twist (at least for my lil peanut brain back then). So many good memories from playing this for the first time.

Feels like a "coffee version" of a certain little game I really like, so I'm not going to sit here and pretend I wasn't constantly comparing the two. It was a cute and relaxing game.

Sometimes I feel like I'm one of the few people that really loves PoE, though I can see where people come from. Lol Despite the walls of text, I love PoE's world and lore.
