Some slow parts, some not so interesting boss fights but this is narratively the strongest Persona game and has the best SLs.
Makes me hope future games will be as linear in their story.

I love Lotus Juice

If I played this as a kid in 1997 I would be a FF fan for life as well. So many twists and turns in both story and gameplay that take you from place to place in this world

It's cute but wayyy too hard for me, in an annoying way

At its peak it has outstanding presentation with jawdropping cinematic visuals and music. The combat is very satisfying, story is pretty good

A pointless crafting system, side missions and a mundane overworld drag it down though

The better DLC. Makes me retroactively like Alan Wake even more. More of what Control is good at with Alan Wake tie-ins.

Love to see a passionate game studio put their all into making a really good game.

The game design is top notch except for having to walk 200km to get anywhere and the occasional repetitiveness.

Also the music slaps.

Less gameplay issues and the storytelling worked beautifully in tandem with the accompanying music to tell a Tarantino-esque and easier to follow narrative (than the first game).

Remove the patent on the nemesis system

That's how mafia works.

Around the board it keeps 0's strenghts in gameplay but dips in story consistency and delivery.

What it does excel at is anything and everything with Majima in it.

One of the most unique gameplay structures I've seen in a while combined with raw STYLE in art direction and music

Lovable characters and engaging plot, though it had occasional slow parts and outdated/cringe "humor"

Has terrible aspects (walking distance to bosses, ledge/enemy hitboxes etc) and certain areas need to have their creator go to jail.

Aside from those it holds up really well, despite its age.
Clean-ish gameplay and nice story

A very different game from FS but a huge success overall.
Aside from 1-2 of them, bosses were incredible.
The combat and it's mechanics are exceptionally good, really satisfying.

RGG Studio was very ambitious with this game which could've been something genuinely amazing.
Though it has a bunch of strong parts, the overall execution unfortunately fails.

I still prefer failed ambition over bland caution

Great cathartic ending and top off for the base game

My heart

Solid game, I much prefer Sam Lake's more straightforward but still mystery box writing style here.
Standout art direction work together with a fun sandboxy game engine to elevate what is otherwise a standard superpower 3rd person shooter.
