Windwaker was such a unique departure from the norm. I was disappointed when it was first announced, but for a long time it was my favorite Zelda game and I still love it dearly. The art style is so unique and holds up great to this day.

This is the definitive gen IV Pokemon game in my opinion. Gen IV was a slower gen, but SoulSilver looks fantastic and there's a lot of fun to be had here. While the dialogue is stilted and kind of odd compared to other Pokemon games, the changes from the original were pretty much all for the best. I loved the Pokemon following you and I'm so glad that they had shiny sprites for all the Pokemon as well. Writing this out made me want to replay it, so you know it's good.

This is the ideal Paper Mario game, and nothing is ever going to top it in my opinion. They've strayed too far away from what made this game good, and I'm worried they'll never go back. The Thousand Year Door had excellent humor and wonderful characters; Mario felt like an important part, without being the sole focus of the game. The Bowser and Peach interludes were a lot of fun, and the pacing was excellent. There are chapters I like more than others, but I would replay this game in a heartbeat if it was rereleased on the Switch.

Realistically, this is entirely too high a ranking to give to Sonic Heroes. It's a decent-ish game padded with plenty of unnecessary tasks and rather boring and repetitive gameplay. It's fun the first time, but after that it just drags on to complete it. With that said, I thoroughly enjoyed Sonic Heroes' story and Metal Sonic's theme is still one of my favorites to this day. So I guess I'll be a little generous here, since I did spend a lot of time with this game and would replay it even now. I absolutely wouldn't 100% complete it again, though.

I feel like Smash 4 didn't have an identity like the rest of the Smash games. It was basically just a weaker Ultimate with some characters being entirely too busted. With that said, it's still a solid entry in the Smash series.

I never played the original, so I can't compare the DX version to it. I can say that it is definitely inferior to SA2, though I love the hub worlds in DX.

They did a good job with what they had to work with, but honestly, this game shouldn't have been on the 3DS. It just couldn't handle it as well as it should have been able to. With that said, that one mode where you collect a bunch of power-ups and then fight afterwards was AMAZING (was it called Smash Run?), when are they bringing that back??

It was a cute game, but I'm just not big on the Mario platformers like this. Cat suit is definitely an improvement and I hope they keep it in future games because it's adorable.

I played a lot of this with my sisters and it was a ton of fun. We still have inside jokes from this game.

Honestly, I'm surprised they put the game out like this. There were a lot of problems with it, not the least of which was the severe lack of Fire-types in the game. Platinum was superior in every possible way. But as always, it is a Pokemon game, so it's still a solid game.

SA2:B was my introduction to Sonic. I have yet to play a Sonic game that is anywhere near as amazing and fun. I loved everything about it, from the shooting levels to the treasure hunting and everything in between. Especially the Chao! Please don't ask me how many hours my sisters and I put into this game, it's literally over 1000.

This is where it all started, and I am forever grateful for that, but the game is unfortunately just not very fun looking back on it. I didn't get to play it until after I played Melee, so that's obviously colored my perception of it a lot.

Gen V brought a lot of fun changes and while I personally don't love the sprite movement in this game, it was still a lot of fun. I liked the story and characters, and I love the music. It's a very solid Pokemon game.

I would love this game even more if not for the mandatory minigame stuff. I don't care about PokeStar Studios, don't make me do this nonsense.

Bastion is a wonderful game with fantastic graphics and music, along with a very fun playstyle that never got old or boring for me. I was challenged without ever feeling like I was getting frustrated with it. I love this game dearly and absolutely recommend it, especially because it often goes on sale for very cheap.
