200 hours and I'm not even close to finish. Does this shit even end?

I love it

It's probably one of the most consistent entries of the Tales franchise. The problems is that it starts great and it only goes downhill. The story gets too far-fetched near the finale and even though it sticks the landing it does not get to be really good at any point either.

It's fun. It would be better if Nier did not exist.

It's great until you get to the post-game arc.

A fun game made in so little time that the end result is plain ugly, it's plagued by a lot of bugs and gets you wondering if Pokemon will be great again someday. It won't. And that's okay. We just have to move on.

The peak of boring open-world games. I played for 40 minutes and it was enough. So much to play today with so little time you get as an adult and Horizon feels like a tick list of the tedious shit I have ever seen. Beautiful shit, but shit nonetheless.

Worst AC after the current ones.

I think there are some rushed parts and some of the rpg features are kind of obnoxious, but overall Kratos and Atreus journey is one of a hell of a ride. What they did here, production and narratively-wise is crazy. So much so, the game made me cry and that doesn't happen often.

It was good, but it took a little too much to get good. Story was not as compelling as the first one and albeit traversal was improved a lot and sidequest were fewer and better, I feel like the formula is getting stale.

2018

I don't like roguelikes. But I liked Hades. A lot. It's not a coincidence because it's the only one I've played with an actually good story and interesting characters. I felt very inmersed and surprised by Supergiant's take of the greek lore and that made the never-ending "die and try again" cycle not as bothersome to go through.

It's not a bad game, but it's not great either. Story is unfinished, side-quests are forgettable and it really gets you fatigued with so many wall to wall points between small areas. Combat is fun, though. We will have to wait until all three parts get out to really asess the remake value, but I do still prefer the original game over this one. Specially since the new story they're cooking seems like a whole bunch of nothing.

As a Falcom game enjoyer, I was waiting for the pay-off, but it seems there is none. It tries to be a Trails with the Ys gameplay, but it fails to achieve any of the good parts of both. It really feels like this is what they got of a side-off training ground for their bigger fish, Cold Steel 2.

This is THE superhero game. No other can compare. Insomniac did an amazing job with the swing gameplay, the villains presentation and fights, the story and the spidey charisma. DLC is an absolute shit-fest, though.

Probably one of the best stories of the decade within the rpg genre. No other game left me such a big impression as Nier Automata did. It has some of the most obnoxious choices I've seen in games and it requires so much commitment of you to get it through (like playing it several times a la Visual Novel) but it pays off in such a strong manner. It's a game you remember, for better or worse.

This is the best Resident Evil. The puzzles are great, the story is simple, gets to the point and it doesn't overstay its welcome, the police department is both a vast and an amazing setting and the Mr. X threat is both distressing and interesting to play through. Only complain I have is that the dual-protagonist route could have been done in a way that does not produce timeline holes within the other route.
