I like many others, bought this game thinking it’d be Mario Party but with Animal Crossing characters.

Unfortunately there is literally no mini games to play, and unless you had multiple amiibos you were forced to play with CPUs and not your friends.

There really just isn’t a “game” to this. The lack of minigames makes it just a literal walking simulator in the form of a board game. It just was such a massive disappointment it felt like a spit in the face.

Whoever greenlit this non existent game needs to be studied under a microscope.

Honestly it’s a really surprisingly fun metroidvania. Originally I bought it just cause I wanted to see if it was really that great but honestly, the music and the art are fantastic and the gameplay is so fun. I don’t really care too much about the H scenes as much as others since I’ve dealt with worse. My only complaint is that I’m a bit of an idiot when it comes to trying to finish some of the quests and that it feels rather hard to figure out how to complete them haha.

One of the best dating sims I’ve played, the ML and protagonist have some of the most genuinely realistic writing and conversations ever. I love playing this game Grim is my widdwe meow meow pookie bear malewife.

this game is garbage especially compared to P4DAN. it took everything great about P4DAN and completely removed it. doesn’t even feature hatsune miku in it.

should probably go back to playing this but honestly where the fuck am i while playing this game.

I need to go back to playing this game so bad. I literally was going on about how Digimon needs more horror/darker themed games and then got depressed playing the game and put it on hold.

I love this game and the depression it gives me.

Purchased while it was on sale on Steam and it is so worth it. The most intensive character customization I’ve ever experienced and I love the story so far & the characters. This was my intro to the souls-like genre and I think I will enjoy the rest from now on.

Yeah this game was terrible I have no idea why they didn’t just pull an ORAS and make Platinum into an epilogue. I abandoned this game once I “played” through the contest. They removed so many good things from the original and just completely reverted to the inferior DPPT instead of Platinum and it just. Was such an immense disappointment.

God I wish you weren’t complete ass.

This is such a conflicting game. On the one hand it has some fantastic fucking writing once you’re following Ryuki as the protagonist, but when you’re following Mizuki as the protagonist the writing is just pure dog shit.

Even though Uchikoshi loves writing about multiple timelines in all of his games and about interacting with said failed timelines to get to your true ending, I felt like there was an obvious chance lost to make Bibi be Mizuki from a failed timeline. Instead, the writing decided to spit on the original game by making Mizuki have no reason to feel a thing about her parents and made the issues of the first game be worthless. The fact that it’s normal and can be completely unexplained just exists that Date can get super human powers after viewing porn mags, but that Mizuki needed to be a man made designer test tube baby to justify the existence of her superhuman strength and abilities just feels like such a cop out.

Also, the “true timeline” still has plenty of plot holes and makes no sense. Mizuki as the protagonist is basically just setting up predators with the women they preyed on in some form or another so I cannot like any of those characters (and in fact ended up laughing when Gen died.)

The writing is so good and heart wrenching and amazing when you’re following Ryuki as the protagonist, but the second you go to following Mizuki as the protagonist, it just shits all over all the wonderful writing of the first game and the characters relationships, as well as the struggles Mizuki went through from the first game.

It’s so unfortunate because I really love Ryuki and his half of the game is so fucking fantastic but the writing for everything else is so complete dogshit it feels offensive. I guess if you want to play it just go into it expecting it to be terrible.

I wish I could give this a 0*. I only played through this because friends asked me to and also gave me cheats and this game is not worth shit holy fuck.

Also everything felt extremely offensive and it was painfully obvious this game was made for straight women but JFC this game is so fucking full of stereotypes I would rather die than play this game again.

I already felt like I was wasting so much of my time playing it with cheats which made me able to finish it within a day, I cannot genuinely imagine trying to fucking play this game in it’s original intended way AKA by taking 3 real life years to complete.

Please just go yank your chain to something else even Paint Girl and West Sweety is better than this dog shit.

Sort of same as the first game, it’s a lot easier to enjoy when you’re a teenager but it’s definitely an improvement in writing.

They also expand upon the story more however I have to say it sort of feels like the perverted tropes got even more noticeable than in the first game.

The Mastermind being Junko again was. A bit annoying but it was realistically the only time it was OK that it was Enoshima Junko yet again. But I have to say it felt cheap, at the least it made her more of a pain in the ass than the first game lol.

The character writing is pretty cringey and feels very much like middle aged adults who haven’t been near college students in well over 30 years.

The twists are kind of predictable, and while I understand that not everyone can be saved especially in a horror game, I found it kind of cheap that Josh has no way of having any sort of “happy ending” really.

Didn’t really like any of the characters and they were all kind of obnoxious and/or just assholes to each other besides the protagonist & Josh.

Also making the villain/antagonist be the guy with severe mental illnesses is such an outdated take.

In my opinion this is the worst entry into the Pokémon series. All characters were completely forgettable, or too busy being annoying in some other form or another.

An entire character’s backstory goes completely untold and he just feels randomly thrown into the clusterfuck that is the “story”.

Also, while box legendaries tend to change a few things with the way the big bads interact and also go about their evil deeds in game, I have to say it’s so very stupid to have him be a “villain” when in Pokémon X he is trying to give everyone eternal youth & life before they become “ugly”, whereas in Pokémon Y he is a genocidal maniac who’s trying to kill the whole world before becoming “ugly”. While I understand him being a villain in Pokémon Y, in Pokémon X it makes absolutely no sense.

Honestly I have no idea why this game so damn unbalanced. The previous iteration was also released on the switch and lasted around 5 or so years before Splatoon 3 was released so they had plenty of notes on how to keep the balance OK and make the game enjoyable.

The maps are all terrible and just has the focus on the middle which frankly feels just like a cheap out. The difference in inkable turf between Splatoon 3 maps and Splat2&1 maps is ridiculously large, and also just doesn’t offer enough variety.

And while I do enjoy the catalogue, I feel as though the catalogue level has completely skewed matchmaking balances since you’re no longer really matching with people around the same player level, and that filling out the catalogue is quite tedious and redundant. Turf war doesn’t exactly feel fun anymore especially during Splatfests, unfortunately.
