an alright game in it's own right, but not great in comparison to it's great sequel

while it may just seem like another "wow! wasn't the old internet so quirky and wackY!" this game transcends that idea for characters so endearing that they genuinely feel real. plus, the soundtrack for this game is incredible (especially, the credits song). please play it. PLEASE.

i really wanted to love this game but, it just doesn't go far enough with it's ideas, it had so much potential for world building and it really just didn't hit, the monsters are cool and gameplay loop is ok, but man, this game just feels so underdeveloped.

i dont need to say anything about half life that hasn't been said before, great game.

i originally picked up this game during a steam sale when i had heard that it was made by the same creator of the stanley parable, i originally played it not expecting much. and what came after was one of my favorite games of all time, and an ending that has still stuck with me after my single playthrough. if you have the oppurtunity please dedicate the 1 hour and 30 minutes this game asks of you. you will not regret it

after following this game for 3 years of it's 5 year development cycle, i can positively say, this game was worth the wait. peppino is just extremely fun to control, and unlike SOME platformers (super meat boy). the bosses offer a challenge while still being fair, the finale was also incredibly executed. after playing some of the patreon builds post release, i realized if this game had came as originally intended in 2021, then this review would've been 2 or 3 stars at best, but those extra 2 years of development really made the game shine

SO CLOSE TO PERFECT, but man most of those bosses suck ass, especially larry jr. (although you can cheese him very easily) brownie was the only fun one with dr. fetus in a very close second.

an improvement on the original 2013 source version, with an ending that i feel ends the stanley parable well. if you haven't played it. please do

didn't really appeal to me, the controls just don't feel right

fun movement based fps, not fully out yet but this really promising

for a game that was made in one month, this is a really short but sweet game. some parts of the factory level is frustrating and the final boss gimmick sort of comes out of no where, but still a must play.

quite literally my favorite game of all time, i love it
