first castlevania game I ever played, shortly after Simon was confirmed for smash. great game. easier than the others and whip movement feels much more fluid, had a great time

i am perhaps the worst person at stealth games, so getting caught every 2 seconds was normal for me while playing this game. still a great game, had lots of fun

one of the buggiest, broken games I think I've ever played in my life. literally impossible to play through 2 hours of the game without a bug. but i love it for that, and I love it for it's immaculate atmosphere

greatly enhanced when you play it with a friend. played it through with my girlfriend one day and have almost never had more fun on a co-op game

the perfect condition for this game is just to sit down one day and play it through one sitting if you have time. perhaps one of the greatest puzzle games of our era
