Honestly this game is okay but I hate like half of the chapters for their awful level design and QTEs
Probably also has one of the most frustrating final bosses I've faced in any action game for all the wrong reasons

Pretty fun game, but I feel that it does become a little bit monotonous towards the end unfortunately

VERY good roguelite, and I'm not really even a fan of the genre but I have had an amazing time with this one
I do wanna see more interesting perks for each weapon's Zagreus aspect though, because the majority of them just aren't that fun to use, and the sword one specifically is just very weak compared to everything else

A literal fucking embarassment to the Destiny franchise. The worst one at that. Single worst piece of content I've ever played for any game. The year 3 seasons only made it worse. Shit game.
Honestly, would be a lot lower of WotM wasn't a fantastic raid. Best D1 raid imho.

I can see why this was so beloved at the time of release but, by today's standards, there's a lot better JRPGs. Especially around the PS2 era.
Pacing is pretty terrible, combat is fine if you use the speed-up in the modern releases of the game, I don't feel like any of the characters are particularly fleshed out apart from Barrett. Never finished it but I may pick it back up eventually.

This rating is for Golden Deer, as that's the only route I played.
Pre-timeskip is pretty okay. Plot is poo-poo but the general gameplay loop is fine.
Post-timeskip goes to shit, the most boring segment I've played in a game in a while. Also has really shit maps in the lategame.

This game is pretty great, but honestly not for me. Unsurprising considering I'm not traditionally into metroidvanias either way. Anyone into metroidvanias will probably cum playing this game though

LITERALLY the best game in the entire 3DS library. If you still own a 3DS I fucking implore you play this god damn game. It's raw swag.

This probably should've gotten the remake treatment to be honest. The combat is beyond terrible, especially in certain boss fights.
The game also just takes way too long to get going, some chapters are pretty much filler including one of the last ones.
Finale is pretty good though. I will admit.

This is the kind of game that is pretty good when you're a newbie but awful when you're a veteran. Digital Extremes proves time and time again that they only care about bringing new players in with new content that doesn't do anything to flesh out the """endgame""" experience, and the game is full of bloat content that isn't even worth doing in the first place as a result.
The monetisation is pretty solid though, all things considered.
Just stick like 100 - 200 hours in this game and never touch it again. That's about how long it's actually good for.
