The pretty small open world makes this game pretty enjoyable to run around in, with good movement. A lot of the side content is pretty repetitive and boring, but the main story is pretty good. Biggest disappointment is the final boss, which would have been cooler if it was a character I actually knew anything about before fighting.

While mechanically a big step up from bayo 1, everything else about it feels very sanitized an unambitious, which is weird to say for a game with so many spectacle fights. Arguably too many of those, giving those fights a lack of weight. The story is bad, but outside of that it's just, like, a pretty fun game I'm not gonna think about much afterwards

Has a pretty decent gameplay loop and pace for the first 2/3 of the game, but once you're nearing the finish line it completely tanks and turns into a spike trap house of horrors. Maybe the most cinematic cluster fuck of an ending ever. Combat is also pretty simple and repetitive, very difficult to avoid a lot of enemy attacks and can feel pretty sluggish. More of an adventure game than an action game. Also feels like it was made for 14 year olds and what their idea of cool is

Thr only thing keeping this from the bottom of the barrel is that it's shorter than most movies

Conceptually the coolest game ever made, but some frustrating gameplay decisions and desire to make a world that you explore really hamper what could have been a great game. Just needed a bit more of a tighter focus and some less frustrating enemies, because this has everything else.

Way too short to actually be offended by but is inarguably less interesting than Alan Wake 1. The FMVs of Mr. Scratch however are a work of genius and justify this game's existence

A cool premise and interesting idea, but not executed particularly well. Pretty boring to play but story keeps a good pace until the last level, which is just awful and then the game just kind of ends

This game gets the same score as Apollo Justice even though this is the more enjoyable of the 2, purely out of principle. Extremely cowardly attempt at a return to form and seems pretty revolted at being a sequel to Apollo Justice in a way that really gets under my skin. Last couple cases are fun enough I guess, otherwise it's overall just pretty bland and inoffensive

I want every AAA game to shoot for the fences like this from now on. A display of pure, creative force and piece of art I'll be thinking about and replaying for a long time

This game is so cool, it should be on Ride with Norman Reedus

This is the best ace attorney game and it isn't even close. God damn, what a game

This game is not good at all, but is extremely funny. Truly absurd at times

"There are no good and bad actions, only good and bad teams". This quote was made by a guy named Shaun on a video about Harry Potter, but I think that it applies here too. This game seems like it tries to go for some kind of message about how the justice system is flawed and needs changing, but is unfortunately ruined by the fact that Phoenix is just playing 4D chess with the legal system in a way that if any other character was doing, it would be considered an evil act. If there are unjust laws they should not be respected, but this game failed to convince me in any way that Phoenix's actions were somehow moral outside of him "being on the good team". If Phoenix had bad intentuons, he'd be the villain for doing the exact same thing. The individual cases are also awful, being a mix of incredibly boring and incredibly stupid, with the finale case being maybe the worst in the main series. Thank god this message would be done so much better in Investigations 2, because here it is wasted and Apollo deserved better.

This game gets a lot wrong, but the stuff it gets right is so right it makes you forget about all the annoying stuff

Even though that last turn in Babylon Garden was designed by Satan himself, this game just kind of rules. They should really make another one of these
