I found Xenoblade 3's story and setting extremely underwhelming. I was looking forward for what this game will provide, but I'm afraid I didn't get what I wanted for this one.
For one, I think the setting could've been done a lot better. I had a hard time trying to recall the locations in the world of Aionios, despite it being a combined world of 1 and 2. The music doesn't really contribute at all, since I felt like each piece was too similar to one another, which makes it harder for me to get immersed to the world of 3.
The Moebius was a bit disappointing, which is a shame. It raises interesting conflicts, such as seeing old friends becoming Moebius and facing them again, but I felt like we didn't have enough time with them to feel something. A big example was Noah's mentor, Crys. I think it would've impact more if we have C oppose Noah personally multiple times before revealing himself. Also the supposedly original Moebius X and Y had the most underwhelming deaths because they don't even have their own death cutscenes. They just die like... That's it.
Out of all the main characters, I found myself getting attached to Eunie and Taion the most. Both extremely charming and fun, and I enjoyed their stories a ton. Lanz's story with Joran was interesting, but that's pretty much it. Sena, unfortunately got the short end of the stick by having her side story not even focus on her at all (Shania, Ghondor, ilu, but Sena needs this). All I got from her and Lanz is that they are insecure and they almost sacrificed themselves (and we didn't even get a scene of their friends reacting aftermath). I lost interest in Mio after she faced her execution, and Noah is the least interesting character out everyone from the main party. He's too boring for my liking, and I didn't get attached to him as much as I did with Taion and Eunie.
Overall, It was just another game that I can just brush off and move on. Hopefully the DLC will tie up loose ends on some plot points that are left unsaid, such as the child finding the city and then getting killed by N, or the Lucky Seven sword thing I guess.
TL;DR: i think manana would've killed z by spinning
