dehumanize yourself and face to bloodshed

This was called "El Bruto" in spanish, everyone had their own El Bruto link on their MSN at some point if you grew up during MSN's lifespan...

the type of thing you get when a passionate game designer is at the same time a passionate programmer

Only a few lines resonated with me but I'm glad games like this are being made, keep up the good work.
Keep making very personal games even if the "target audience" is you and only you.

do not let shoji meguro have important decisions ever again

This game is VERY rough on the edges. Most of the things the half a star review said are true but I don't think this game deserves that score honestly.
I don't care when a game imitates another one, and I wanted to avoid mentioning that game but it's really hard not to, because my biggest problem with this game is that it's really good when it is not trying to be Undertale.
Like that review said, it has its moments of brilliance and I really appreciate that from a game made by two guys in their free time.

Oh, something worth noting if you're planning to play this game: Not an expert on accesibility but this game could hurt your eyes or cause you a seizure if you suffer from those. It does offer an Image Sensitive mode but I couldn't notice any worthwhile changes to the visuals.
I personally enjoy the psychedelic stuff but I know it's not for everyone.

Not as revolutionary as people said it was but it's pretty good. My favorite part of the game is the narrative design, which, to sum it up, is akin to filling out a jigsaw puzzle. It almost makes me feel angry everytime I see someone call this a visual novel seeing that a lot of effort went into that part of the design (there wouldn't be anything wrong if it was really a VN, but with that criteria you might as well call monkey island a VN at this point).

The other parts of the game can be a hit-or-miss, for instance, the visuals look gorgeous but at times it can look wrong, specially on the less chaotic sceneries. The character art looks gorgeous, my favorite being the sprites during the events (they have those Akihiko Yoshida-ish eyes that I love).
The combat is fun but there are a few improvements to be made: how the turn of each pilot is managed doesn't feel right and it doesn't help that the UI is a mess. It also has a tendency of interrupting you while you're choosing an option during the most complex waves.
I liked the plot for the most part, some of the revelations left me making loud monkey sounds, and others were pretty predictable, specially towards the end.

Overall it's pretty good, I recommend this especially if you like Zero Escape/Uchikoshi types of stories.

I thought it was a good idea buying this, then I found out I don't know any jokes and neither do the people that play it.

I'll never forgive this game for having the perfect setup for a protagonist switch and wasting the opportunity
