this game makes me so sad because the creators obviously care so much and are so genuine and really wanted to make good game and it just sucks. none of their effort made this game into a good one

I dunno! I really liked most of it, but I felt kinda funky about it by the end. I think mechanically it's solid, and the combat feels pretty great, though the final bits started to frustrate me. I'm sure the story bits will hit hard for some people, and maybe it will come off as pretentious for others, but for me, I kind of just didn't have much of a response to the narrative.

Tired: shake shake on a clancer

Wired: shake shake on a mech.

Good at what it's doing! Could be better at guiding you through the game. Sometimes feels like you stumble on a solution, rather than cracking the puzzle. It also doesn't let you skip puzzles, which isn't great for this. It would be nice to skip a puzzle and come back to it if you're stuck; seems like a standard feature. Needs options for color-blind people, too (I'm not, I just think it's important :P).

King's Field 2, AKA King's Field in English. It's... actually pretty great? Like, yeah, it's janky and clunky, but that's what makes it kind of cool? It grows on you? Honestly, if you have patience for it, and you're interested in seeing how these games evolved, it's worth playing.

Establishing the time-honored FromSoftware tradition of having a skeleton with a sword near the beginning of the game that will immediately dunk you straight into the toilet

LOVE LOVE LOVE the demon girls in this game. Seriously, I love the art-style, and it helps that the girls are well written and likeable. Beyond that, it's a relatively competent puzzler.

I do wish it wasn't about building a harem. That kind of skeeves me out. Honestly, the story makes just as much sense if it was about the character trying to throw a rager. I'm docking it points for the weird harem premise, and the fact that the final level is AWFUL and unfun. A cute diversion

You cant buy this game anymore. That's how bad it is.

This game is so good that it terrifies me.

what most girls want in a man: strong, handsome, has money, smart, funny

what i want in a man: can frontflip, thick thighs, jetpack, formerly a leader of the dangerous organization Scarlet, eagle man bird face

I dunno. I really wanted to like this one, but it just wasn't working for me at all! Enemy bullet patterns are unpredictable, yet a lot of it can best be solved by just moving left and right across the screen. I might be missing something, but this game missed the mark for me.

Hell yeah! Now that's what I'm talking about! Wow, SO much better than the first game. Bullet patterns are way more fun to dodge.

Not for me. I'm not interested in the "FORTNITE BAD" discourse, but I'll speak from personal experience. I see why people like it, but it just does not work for me.
