Really don't know where to start with this one, besides just mentioning that I was kind of excited and wanting to play this after going through Remake and Intermission shortly before this came out, having enjoyed those a lot and specially Intermission particularly because of how fun the combat was and the cute interactions between Yuffie and Sonon, but yeah, this game didn't really hit it off well with me after a while.

At first I was pretty excited about how the story would pan out, the beginning was exciting and the open world made me really look forward to it, but as the game progresses and more areas open, you start to notice the repetitiveness and dullness of the world itself, how boring it gets despite being beautiful. The Ubisoft Towers at first I didn't mind too much but after a while, all of the things involving the open-world sections themselves just felt really boring and dull, it felt more like checking out chores on a checklist and doing a job rather than just having fun, the exploration is just generic run-of-the-mill open world exploration with a coat of Final Fantasy at the end of the day, it doesn't change at it's core.

The story at times had a really weird and odd pacing, like it was rushing for some reason, despite having these huge open world areas, the pacing was really off at times, specially during THAT one Barret sequence that happens after the Dustbowl, just kind of felt in poor taste how they handled it. The ending was kind of disappointing, lackluster and it almost felt in bad taste how they handled it, at times it felt like they were trying to pull on my feelings but it didn't work at all because at that point I really just wanted to be done with the game because of how bloated it felt after trying to do every little single thing on it, I probably would've enjoyed it more if I just bombrushed the main story but I wanted to enjoy it fully, but oh well.

But to not drag this on further, I really tried to like this more and have more fun with it, but the overwhelming amount of unnecessary minigames felt insanely boring and bloated to hell and back and how they try to tack them into the main story as well, it's overwhelming and gets boring real fast. On some more positives, the presentation of the game is incredibly nice; it's a beautiful game and the music is also really well made, a lot of arrangements and original songs coming back felt nice, the way they handled some characters felt decent enough besides some of them here and there and the gameplay, despite not changing much from Remake, was still somewhat decent, the additions really don't do much for me and it somehow felt weirder than how it was on both Remake and Intermission, but it isn't bad, definitely one of the strong points of the game.

6/10 feels like a good enough rating to me, it was a decent game, not good but also not bad.

Easily crowned as one of the best RPG maker games out there, with a stellar presentation and an amazing soundtrack that accompanies it; the vibes are immaculate and this is definitely one for the ages, don't miss out on it, and preferably go into it unspoiled.

Loved this game to bits, I hope the dev finishes it though! Definitely worth a read if you are a fan of RPGmaker games, this is worth checking out.

I can't really get myself to hate this game despite all of it's flaws, which it has many of course, it being a Bethesda game, it's cursed to have a lot of bugs and a lot of things you need to be wary of when going in. But despite all of this, the gameplay and the repetition is enjoyable.

I won't say much about the story because this being almost a 10 year old game, it probably has already seen all sort of dispute around it, but I will just mention that getting the Brotherhood of Steel ending made me laugh hysterically for a moment because of how horrendous that ending was, I had fun laughing at it even.

The music is forgettable at best, it being just a rehash of the vibes from Fallout 3 it just falls flat on it's own and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense when you already went through that before, some songs are just tacked on and they feel like paperweight, some of them are incredibly bad, cheesy at best but not good.

To end this, I would just like to say that going into this with the idea of "I'm just gonna do my own thing" and glanced over the story, it was actually pretty enjoyable; some of the side quests are pretty nice and the environmental storytelling is probably one of the best in recent memory.

The story is pretty nice, I like it plus the gameplay is enjoyable, a bit more mindless compared to Library of Ruina but still kinda nice, just wish there were more content, otherwise a really quality game by Project Moon and really excited and looking forward to the next season. Hell's Chicken was a fun event but incredibly grindy, thought they already addressed this and mentioned how future events won't be as grindy, gonna have to keep an eye out for that in the future.

I love Angela.
I would recommend not looking up anything about this before going into it, it's actually the best going in blind, the best (or worst) experience you will ever have. If anything, looking into mods that might add some of the quality of life stuff might be good, otherwise experiencing it raw was incredibly interesting.

Can't believe that replaying it 10 years later just made me realize how bad 343's storywriting is. Imagine unironically trying to turn Master Chief into a modern, Hollywood-esque John Shooter guy who gets "emotional" and talks a fuckton just for no reason. They tried to dismantle his entire character and give him another personality, while also trying to change Cortana's in a way, none of this working and coming off as extremely awkward and unnecessary, and let's not talk about the new race of enemies which are pretty whatever in the end; all show and no substance whatsoever, the only redeeming factor of this new race is the fact that their weapons are good for putting up a show, look and sound pretty nice overall and look flashy enough to keep you entertained a bit, if you can even get entertained in the first place.

Pretty mediocre game, has some very slight redeeming factors but it's very obvious what 343 was trying to do here which was to deconstruct the Halo formula and try to change it around, giving it their own spin and it clearly not working and falling flat on it's face on the concrete ground, splattering all over and making such a mess of a game this is.

The definitive edition of what Half Life 1 should be if it got remade in this day and age; also entirely a complete reimagining of Half Life 1, not only a remake of it.

Incredibly fun game to go through, refreshing take on an already really entertaining game with an interesting yet sort of compelling story despite how simple it is, but quite fun once you start taking in all of the environmental story-telling and radio logs around the levels, plus what the characters have to say about you and listening to the Marines as well talk about the situation. The Black Mesa facility as a whole was an engaging set of levels to go through this time around, especially with how some of them were refined, tuned, or kept as is but with some changes here and there, one of the reasons why this felt highly refreshing but also quite similar to the original, the aesthetic of the game was kept entirely similar, but refined, and the music was so good in my opinion, even though I've heard and seen some people mention that the overall vibe of the music didn't fit the game, but for me it felt quite nice, it gives it a very unique vibe that despite everything I still feel like it fits the situation and makes either the level or the encounter more cool, interesting or compelling.

Xen was incredibly astounding, as simple as that, the music was beautiful, the visuals were breathtaking, the environmental telling of the story was pretty good in parts of this entire section of levels as well, specifically in Interloper.

The selection of weapons in this game is pretty interesting since some of them had their mags cut down, the ammo capacity and all was trimmed for some of them, but they also don't feel like they are entirely useless, they do their job as weapons, and the ammo trimming feels more as a way for you to have more variety since you still do get a lot of ammo throughout the game, but having a weapon of selection this varied feels kind of useless when you spend most of the game using the same weapons since you keep getting a fuckton of ammo for it, which in this game does not feel like that at all, you get a fair amount of it in appropriate places and the game lets you have fun with what you want to mess with.

Overall a pretty beautiful and a perfect example of what a pure videogame should be like; pure gameplay, incredible music, environmental storytelling being a focus instead of cutscenes and visuals being also an important part of it as well.

To begin explaining Signalis would be giving it a disservice, I went into this game only knowing that if I liked the original Silent Hill games that I'll likely end up loving this, and boy they weren't lying. This will definitely become one of my favorite games of all time, but as of now, it's definitely really high up there. I'll dissect the game a little bit just to explain my thoughts on it:

The story is pretty simple, it spreads itself in different acts, rapidly giving explanation as to what's happening with notes spread around the game and the different NPCs that you may come across as the game pushes further into the story. The game quickly puts into perspective what it is, it doesn't mess around with you and puts on the table what you can expect right away, and follows it's own path, making you push through it with the different tools and mechanics that you come across.

The ambience in Signalis is absolutely gorgeous; from the visuals, textures, the animated cinematics and the 3D camera motions, to the incredibly fitting, vibrant and sometimes somber soundtrack. Everything about this game is absolutely amazing, and it'll definitely be a remarkable memory that'll set itself in deeper in my head as I continue to digest it. If there was one thing that I could criticize, despite everything, and that, to be honest, isn't much of a criticism, would be just the pace of the story, as it sometimes clashes a little bit with the gameplay, and the amount of back and forth that there can be, but despite all of this, it is still a very enjoyable experience, and with time, I feel like I may just give it a 5 out of 5 rating, but for now, it is more than appropriate.

Definitely an incredible experience that everyone should go through at least once in their lives, there is nothing quite like this and it might even become one for the ages.

it got fixed and everything but it's still a fine game

wish I could say more about this game, it is really fun, but at the moment of playing this while the updates were still coming out every now and then, a lot of the game kept breaking over and over, and it would really take you out of the experience because there were no saves and the game would just crash, ruining your run, it was frustrating, but once the game got fixed, it was probably one of the most fun and increasingly tense experiences ever, coming around from almost a "lost run" and being able to finish it and pull through are some of the most intense experiences I've had in this game, definitely worth getting for it's price and the amount of time you could invest in it

what if... murder, but mystery...?
I like being mean to ryukishi07 novels but this is honestly his best one, the trepidation you have to go through to get to the good parts are honestly quite elongated and I feel like rereading this just made me realize this even more, I'd say if I were to read it with fresh eyes in this day and age, I probably would've liked it more, but oh well, it's a fun mystery to go through, and I'm glad more people are picking it up.

what if... murder, but... psychological?

One of the best experiences I ever had, the most fun story I've ever experienced and the wildest fucking ride ever, I enjoyed this all the way through.
