do you seriously care enough to see what this site thinks about fucking "goat simulator"?

the joke is that goats dont usually get up to mischievous acts such as these

Goat Simulator reminds me of Dishonored in a way. The same directionless appeal. The same lack of backbone and tough decisions, both things that would to turn an experiment into something more expressive than the obvious appeal of "interactivity".

It's very glitchy and I like glitchy and broken games. And you can fly in the air and you can get weird achievements and transform into other stuff like a long goat which is a giraffe. It's very funny! Oh! I kicked Dead-Maw-Five into the ocean!

[Dad's note: I have told him how to properly pronounce Deadmau5 but that just made him laugh harder about saying the name wrong]

fun and charming for like 5 minutes but then it becomes really irritating

Enjoyment - 4/10
Difficulty - 5/10

Flappy Goat... That is all. 🏆

Maybe it was a little fresh at the time of release, but now it already looks like a cheap indie for YouTube. Location and tasks are boring. DLCs were already better, they at least parody game genres.

cannot rate this badly in good conscience

made exclusively for 2014 YouTubers to go "WOAH THIS IS GO CRAZY GUYS AIN'T THIS SO WACKY AND ZANY"

was better when it was simpler. tried way too hard to be funny and now it's just a token, stupid game that you'll get bored of in 20 minutes

This game is not very good but it is very funny. And things that are funny become good by default, so I suppose that means this game is good (kinda).

Plus, it's pretty fun to just fuck around in.

they made a game about me how neat

I was blindsided by actually liking this game

Absolutely GOATed game if you enjoy messing around in a sandbox world wreaking havoc as a goat.

Some very, very stupid fun that's enjoyable in small doses. You are allowed to like this sort of thing a little bit, you know. As a treat, sometimes.

No idea how this game got popular, it's funny but the novelty wears off quickly

I never played this back during its brief popularity, and I was surprised by how the base game attempted to avoid too many of-the-time references. this could have dated itself to disasterous results but instead keeps a relatively low-key sense of humor throughout the whole thing with only a few eye-roll mid-2010s memes to speak of. in terms of how it actually plays: it has the bare minimum amount of setpieces to keep it from being a joke of a tech demo and that's it. some of the quests/events are relatively involved to figure out with few hints; I would imagine this would've felt much fresher back when you could have heard how to complete something by hearing the solution from a friend. at the very least the game is generous with providing movement options and a useful slow motion mode. I also appreciate the stability of the game; for a game based around its buggy physics and object interaction it surprisingly had no crashes or soft-locks during my brief playtime. overall a decent platinum trophy to get in a few hours and move on.

I played this game on an Amazon Kindle some years ago and I thought it was pretty funny. I don't think I'll have the same fun with it now as I did back then though

I hate to say this but its actually good

Can be fun for 30 minutes or so, then it gets stale. It really is just a YouTube bait game

it being bad on purpose so pewdiepie can make bad jokes over it doesnt stop it from being bad.

One of my best friends told me to play this and he's the smartest person I know so it has to get a good rating for him.

this was peak humor when it released.

The embodiment of the old "random = funny" stage of the internet
